BABY COFFE PLANTS EVERYWHERE! Harvesting Coffee Beans in The Sub Tropics
Просмотров 87Месяц назад
It takes months to germinate a coffee bean seed. To my surprise the mother of my plants did it all on her own. I believe it will take 12 to 15 mature coffee plants to sustain our family for the year. It takes about 4 years for your coffee plants to start fruiting. I found 8 coffee plants and potted them and I know there are more to find. We will start roasting the coffee harvest as soon as we w...

@@Mygardendiary I also live in Central Fl and was starting everything on the ground but I am always late because of weather, so I will be trying to start inside even in the Winter since the house will be warmer than outside. Thanks for replying.

Cool

Living off the land at 76 is impressive to me not many people that age doing that I’m guessing.
Why did we forget to live like this?

Crazy video!!
Always great watching your videos
Thanks for watching my new channel 🎉
I made a salve with cannibis, comphrey, and stinging nettle. Did not use essential oils though like to keep it natural
How did that work out?
@Mygardendiary worked out great except the smell, lol. But I only use it on my feet and knees before bed. I use it for RLS, and it helps me with the twitching and pinching in my feet
@@paulpaul5098 I use a Levo Machine to infuse. It’s not cheap, but makes it easy. You should do a video on this recipe.
@Mygardendiary what is a Levo machine? I just pick all my plants except for the cannibis. " I usually get freebies, and I didn't know what to use it for, so I researched and decided to use it for salve. About doing a video that might happen in the future. Thank you
@@paulpaul5098 it infuses oil, butter and even honey with anything you want.

Billy at Parma Pastures Farm and his family has helped me so much in learning about comfrey
I bought comfrey roots from Billy & Michele at Perma Pastures Farm. The roots took a couple months to get growing but once the start, they grow very well and come back every year even in our zone 4a-4b.
I have been following them for some time. So much good info on their channel. Thanks for watching mine.
Looks delicious 😋 that little wooden bowl that you use with your Nutrimill is so cute 🤩where did you get it?
Probably Marshals. lol. Thank you for watching
I love your idea of labeling each plant with little stones 😃 I’m doing it!
Maybe you could use a salad spinner to get some of the water out of your tomato skins.
I have one too. Good idea, I don’t know why I did not pull it out. Thank you for watching. I think we can get better learning from each other.
Time for some jackfruit & mangoes.
I hear you. The Mango tree gets so big. Does Jack Fruit? Thanks for watching
@@Mygardendiary check out the container gardening others are doing 👌
You are saving seeds from different peppers that grew right next to each other. They probably cross pollinated and what you get from those seeds will be some sort of hybrid. If you like them then that's great.
Maybe they will become stronger? I have an entire bed full of different peppers. It’s hard to throw away my seeds. I’m a seed hoarder. Thank you for watching.
Is it better to use the smaller younger leaves than the large ones?
I’m not an herbalist but what I have read about I don’t ever remember reading a difference. Thank you for watching.
