no it was the shit stock head set bearing replaced it and still have the same one on the bike today. never had any motor problems but i do open it and check it but i took the nylon transfer gear to the point it looked like a shark fins but i upgraded to a cx motor last year with 0 miles and peters custom bearings and the old motor was fully serviced buy him and still out there going today and i also have a kiox display now and was going to keep the older motor but if i swapped them round the kiox whould have a melt down and have to take it to a bosch dealer for a hand shake for it to work fkn pita so no point keeping it as local dealers want 30 quid to push a fkn button takes the piss

yes you need to use a washer on the ses bolt so it can move left to trght a bit but it does increase wear to the bearing tho

no just use a socket and hammer to remove the bearing but you need to remove the cerclip first and just drift the new bearing in with a bit of grease on it to slide back in and replace the cerclip

Ah ok 👍 the thing is I have a 15 T sprocket but cannot upgrade to a bigger one because of a out bolding piece of plastic on the bosch performance CX cover so im looking to find alternative solutions to this issue

@@scrappyguko8996 that sprocket does give you about half inc gap but you can remove the plastic case or just grind down whats in the way

@@soundwave6769 Thanks for the help! I've done so now and run 22t, but have a small issue of the chain popping of the front sprocket because the bashring is for 15t, what's that extra cogwheel you have above called? Thanks again.

i use a nitecore charger as if you use a 8.4v wall wart via the non usb cable the cells go out of whack over time so charge each cell to 4.2v with a nitecore charger then put them in the pack. there is also no short protection so make sure the cells are the right way round otherwise all the springs will melt.

no just used 2 bits of wood and a socket and a hammer to remove it and replace it you need cer clip pliers as there is one holding it in place just make sure you use a Alan key on the other side as the bolt wont come off unless you hold the other side in place as the bolt will just spin round otherwise.

It'll be from any of their full suspension Bosch equipped bikes. The top length of a chain (which is under a lot of tension) puts ungodly loads downward on that SES pulley and bearing. It's a mechanically retarded answer to suspension geometry issues (pedal kickback) with those little sprockets on the motors. Haibike think they're clever and like to tell ALL of their customers that this bearing failure is an isolated problem.

im just going to buy a new post as the service cost is just not worth it now tho mine is ok when up all the way and check it has full psi now and then.

hi no you cant adjust this with purion but you can set it with the old display and then install purion and it keeps them at what they was set at.

it is still there just you can not adjust it with purion tho a dealer can do it with the bosch software if needed i got my bike to a cut off speed of 36.5 mph with a bad ass dongle ;)

no as it now needs a full service and they want like 100 quid to do it but its fine when fully up just sags a bit when half way but i put a bit over 260 psi in it and helps but not a fix.
