God's Timing vs. Our Timing sermon: I heard this service in 2022 and the visual with the flower has stayed with me to this day in 2024. What a wonderful imagery to demonstrate the way a flower blooms in its own time to correlate with God's timeliness in our own lives. I return to this service often for my own encouragement and to show my children the beauty of how God works in our lives-in His timing. The same way the flower blooms beautifully in His timing, not by our own doing, this is how God works in each of our lives. Furthermore, His work, the "beautiful blooming" of the flower, far exceeds the work of our own hands.

I hate snow too I like sand I moved from so cal and I hate the weather. I have no friends here and I’m in my 60s it’s hard. I joined a women’s small group and haven’t made friends. I have health issues so that doesn’t help

awwww all the pretty things in the world, therefore god. What about children born with cerebral palsy, box jellyfish, deadly viruses, and Cat V hurricanes? What about the other 95% of the earth that's unhabitable by humans? Or the other 97% of water that's undrinkable? Sociopaths? the 9,000 children (right around 360 kindergarten classes) who will die today from malnourishment or bad water, added to the 9,000 who died yesterday and the 9,000 who will die tomorrow? The very continued existence of the "devil" and his "demons"? And god who could (by his quad omni nature) eliminate those things but doesn't - is a grotesque narcissistic monster.
