Nice vid dude! Are the links 313mm, 324mm?? Thanks
Thanks sir! These are all home made links. Hit me up on messenger (Erwin Adriaensen) or find me on Discord if you want the exact wheelbase and link lenghts.
Ever thought about entering this beast in a competition? It would leave the others in the dust! ⚡ Keep on crawling those rocks. 😁
I just dont understand whats cool about this for yall.. i tried man. I fw rc aircraft heavy but idk maybe i just had to many cheap rc cars as a kid and a real car as an adult? Lol this looks so boring... you couldnt even catch an enemy with that thing if you wanted to lol
nice job
Does it go straight up 90° when it's not raining? 😮😍😁
Btw, I'm really impressed of your back yard rock course. You have realized so much lines on that narrow strip in a way of building a proper dry stone wall👍
I need more rocks! The front of the right hand side needs to be harder.
Did you vent the tires?
@@rolandwittwer5026 yes sir, all of them except if I use rims that have vent hole. There is a real big difference between a vented and none vented tire imo.
How confident are you with your pl super swampers? My local hobby store has a set made of "the old" g8 compound for half the price...🤔
...including the almost unmountable milkbread foams
@@rolandwittwer5026 That is a difficult one to answer. On my rocks I have better option than my Super Swampers. Tusk LP all day Lang over here. No, in Italy in the summer on more grippy rocks... My set came from @Erik Rombo in Sweden and I don't know how old they are. On a more grippy surface I bet they do very well. Also, they need a specific insert. Can't compare them with a Chisel though, that is HB Rovers territory. However, if it is the old G8 and price is good I'd go for it.
@@Team_ReVoltI think the Super Swamper is along his name and his specific tread pattern more suited to trailing in mixed terrain, while tires like Rovers, Chisel and Ruptures point for "pure" rock crawling.
Keep them videos coming buddy
@@vb9300 I'm doing my best! YT isn't really picking them up though. Need to think what I can do better...
@@Team_ReVolt I am not a YT video maker so I have not a clue but understand the time and work that goes into it, that being said, as a watcher of multiple channels, many of them test on a homemade coarse. Maybe test tires and situations in "real world" environments. We both follow MR.C, has he tested tires, motors, shocks, ect in a forest? Trail driving near streams with rocks , fallen trees, mud? Just an idea. Alot of the products ive bought that CC said were great dont really work in those types of places.
@vb9300 yeah, good point. Nearest place like that to where I live is probably 100 miles 😬
@@Team_ReVolt well holy crap
Thanks for the response guys😊
Me want some Chisels! I love that insert design!
They are 'next' next level Brain. Video incoming tonight...
Like you said the geoometry of the truck isnt suted to what you were trying to make it do BUT it did really well and im sure you will get it working even better in the near future. Looking forward to the update video
I thought that style of chassis looked familiar. So, you built ratchet....one of my favorites on that channel. That brings up a question...would you be possibly interested in cloning some chassis rails in aluminum for me...if you have the time. loved that rant bro...ya say the sh word and apologize..then proceed to unleash the monster inside while forgetting your still rolling.. reset.. all peaceful...👍😂👍 Priceless brother...best video yet
Man, you made my day! These are the kind of comments I do it for 💯
@@Team_ReVolt ill get with ya on that
Can I find you on Messenger or Discord sir?
@Team_ReVolt yep, its me vince
Wagwan 👊, a real informative and well put together video, fnx fa sharing m8.
hey, are those my inserts sitting on them swampers over there!?!? Cant wait for the ReVolt build. Yes, sir...weight is offically 10.2lbs with battery. Thanks for the shout out.
A video without a drive is like adult fun without a happy ending 🎉 😂 great work Erwin, looking forward to seeing these in action ❤
😅😘
Never tested tires from this brand!
I see some gates🤩😊
We printed some cones. It does add an other dimension to crawling. Lines I took for granted, suddenly ain't for granted no more...
@running without gates means, you’ll find a line somehow, and it makes you think the rig is awesome, when there are some gates and maybe some more trucks, you start finding out if it is true😅
You have a link where to buy those inserts and do jo have them to for the moza 1,9 and car weight about 2,7/2,9 kilo gram
@@petervenema9628 Hello sir. We can make the inserts for you and ship them to you. Otherwise, you can buy the STL files and print them: cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/revolt-rhinorc-moza-1-9

Where can these be purchased?

Great idea. Performance increase is obvious. Great work!
foams are better, tires are gripping properly
It's not easy to get the perfect insert.......for each tire. But I love this idea!
That tire has no grip, did you try a different brand? I wonder if it needs to be broken down to see its potential.
I think it might be a combination of my slick rocks and the tires not broken in yet. And on these rocks I'm not getting a lot of feather...
I had the opportunity to get a set of 4 of the 1.9 MOZA which did not come with foams. I had a set of Crazy Crawler 116x40mm laser cut foams HD and ran the tires on my SCX10 Pro 5.6lbs and found them to be the best tire I’ve tried so far on my rig. I was currently either using 1.9 PL hyrax and 1.9 Lamprey tires and the MOZA was awesome. The CC HD foams allowed for side hill performance as well as controlled squish to contour to the rocks I’m looking forward to the new revolt inserts to try
NOTE: the 2.2 MOZA test tires that received has a tread design that is too tall IMO. I have since cut all of the “X’s” from each tire and cut the height 50% and now they perform well on my Bully 2. Frank Wu is aware of my testing
Can you soften the inserts? My SCX10 Pro weighs 2.65Kg and I am running a set of Crazy Crawler LaserFoam Heavy Duty 1.9" Foam Crawler Tire Insert (2) (116x40mm) (7-10 Pound Trucks) with a weight bias of 63/37%. I find that the squish I get that helps with slow pulls over extremely rough lines is the best. Also allowing the tire to “flatten out and show a light squish when sitting on the ground adds to its ability to do side hills incredibly well. I love the MOZA tire and it is now my go to tire for 1.9 crawlers
They did retty good on the new rock line. I have yet to test my Re-Volt inserts but iI know from watching Redone they will perform when I do.
Nice video. I enjoyed the "just do it" addition, lol. I have my tires setup with firm inserts for the same reason you mentioned...soft lugs and really thin carcass. I really don't want them bagging and tearing. I just haven't found time to test 'em on the rocks yet. Nice job overall.
Now that I see them in action, I still think they are a bit too firm. Where is the test for the softer inserts that you did first?
So, this is 4% front and 5% rear. I went as low as 3.25% on the front but the lugs just didn't have enough support and folded over. Their was some filming, but I gave up because they didn't perform well. Threw that footage away.
Yes let us see the softer insert tests
@@JohnGrenoble It is my opinion these type of tires benifits more from an open cell foam. So we are in the process of designing a new type on insert specific for this tire. Using a TPU inner to support a foam and thus not collapsing on sidehills. The prototype is ready (for one tire) and I will build it together soon. Might do a quick short on that. If it's okay i'll do 4 and run the test vehicle on those. I do have a vehicle in your 2.5 - 2.6 kg range.
Not too shabby. 🤙
Awesome looking crawler what is it n what setup are you running ?
Wow, you didn't waste any time getting these lol 🎉
@@The_RC_Family I have these over a year now. Telling CC to test them for the longest time 😅
HB Rovers are great, I’ve already driven them on my 2.2 Wraith in 2014😅
@@bouncingnoise I can't believe these have been out there hiding in plain site x
they look goooooood!!!!
Nice Erwin, I am looking forward to seeing the rigs out there
Nice work Erwin. FOMO activated lol Shame we couldn't see them in action!
They looked a bit firm......well see.
Did you do a test video?
@@JohnGrenoble I do have videos of testing the mozas. Not with these inserts yet though, soon.
Cool idea. Dont see much compression in them or any conforming to the rocks. Maybe a softer tpu but then I dont see the softer stuff lasting very long. Always worth a try though.
Those Canyon Trails are doing a lot of heavy lifting right there
Hey, I spied those in the background of a personal video. 🤣
You clearly have too much time on your hands Erwin! 😂
Nice, you have inserts already!
This was a test set that is close, but not correct. I'm in the process of developing the correct insert Dwight.
