Actually, yanderes do kill their lover sometimes the definition of a yandere is someone who loves another person so much they WILL KILL FOR THEM, they can kill others (most commonly), themselves, or their lover but in all those instances, they have to be killing in the name of love. Also where did you hear that that is 100% the meaning of this song?
According to all the information I can find online and looking at the lyrics this song is about a very intense love, whether you see it being about abuse or not, you should not say that that is the indefinite meaning of the song without some proof from the singer you know?
