My question is - Why create the SFTP group if you never used it. Shouldnt you have set the FILES directory as property of SFTP group instead of WALU ? Setting propperty to walu only gives access to walu and no other users that may have SFTP group as secondary group.

This did NOT WORK. I tried it, ubuntu didnt show up on windows boot manager, vise versa. Then i tried the last command and got LOCKED OUT OF WINDOWS. I CAN'T EVEN BOOT INTO WINDOWS.

What you write is sensationally simple and works. So I can actually copy files from Linux Mint to Windows 10. I turned off Windows by holding down the SHIFT key and then the file copying was successful. But all your methods work well! Thanks for the idea.

Bro really uses opera as his browser on linux desktop ☠☠ If you want to use chromium based browser you can choose brave and if u want to use firefox based browser you can use floorp. Dont use firefox. Never trust to Mozilla.

What worked for me was to disable microsoft edge graphics acceleration. It may be useful for some.

27/7/2024 i solved the problem in the end. i installed the latest version of virtualbox which is 7.0.10 r158379 (Qt5.15.3). i am using Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS but my kernel version is 6.5.0-44-generic because at some point i upgraded the kernel. apparently the default version is 5.15.0-73-generic. you can check your kernel version by typing 'uname -r' in the terminal (without quotes). the version that ubuntu software store is offering (virtualbox 6.1.32-dfsg r149290) is not compatible with my kernel version so i had to uninstall the ubuntu software store version and then install the latest by adding and installing from oracle's (the creator of virtualbox) repo instead. also there is a bug in ubuntu store which makes it look like ubuntu software store virtualbox is still installed after uninstalling. i had to reboot after uninstallation and that fixed it. i cant remember the steps of uninstallation and install but claude.ai helped.

Your tutorials are by far the best. They're concise and informative. I've watched a number of them and i always walk away feeling a little more knowledgeable . I do have one request. Could you possibly put together a video o how to configure a pxe server for Ubuntu. I don't mean to be cheaky but the one's i've looked at are rubbish. I';ve tried Iventoy but the tutorials Iv'e found are again rubbish.

None of this works. Also using the sc config cmd also disables Bluetooth. Trying to substitue a false driver also doesn't work. Win 10 obligingly restores the correct driver. The simplest solution is to prise up the keyboard and disconnect its ribbon cable. Windows can't see that the keyboard is disconnected and it is absolutely dead.

i followed instructions...(chose> roboto-bold.ttf). HOWEVER IS NOT USED in the context / dropdown / UI menus in vivaldi browser those menus being file edit view bookmarks tools ....etc the fonts used in those are still too small and not in bold. how to modify the registry to apply larger bold fonts in the vivaldi browser menus???
