I hadn't used my spark in over a year, probably two. The only thing got it charging was to plug the USB end of the cord into a phone charger. I then pressed the button on the battery once, then twice and held it in for 3-4 seconds the second time. At that point all the lights lit. Then they went out & it started charging. I have a second battery to try & then we'll see if they hold.

Hi, sorry, when i ‘fixed’ my drone, I still had a tiny bit of battery left. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to fix it if the drone is completely out of battery. Apologies.

I watched a different video and figured out which tabs are the positive and negative on the big charging squares on the bottom of the battery. Hooked up my balance charger and the total pack voltage won't get over 8 volts with zero mah's. And it'll only charge for about 20 seconds and then the charger just beeps and says "check main port". This battery is shot

@@brsrc759 yeah 😓, seems as though you’re more advanced when it comes to Tech. I wouldn’t know what to do from there. In terms of my approach, I just fiddle around with different techniques until one of them luckily works

@@cdarchives3474 so shortly after leaving that last comment I decided I have nothing to lose by opening the battery pack. It was a bit tough but with some patience I was able to get it open. It is a three cell lipo and only one of the cells was puffed up. I disconnected them from their BMS board and the other two cells charged up just fine. Now I just need to scour the internet for a new matching cell to install. Should be a lot cheaper than buying a new spark battery. Of course I will eventually buy two or three more. I made a short video but not going to upload it to my channel until I have more to add. Like maybe how to solder it back together with the new cell. Subscribe to my channel if you like. My battery is not charging. And there are no firmwire updates as well. Its just showing 2 lights and thsts it. I kept it like that for 3 hours but still not working. What do you suggest

@@SnehasishMitra I didn’t face a problem like this so I’m not sure. Have you tried charging your drone using a USB in a laptop? That worked for me, although it was really slow

@@neilburrows6490 idk if u still need this help but what I found was that I was using a weak charger. I switched my charger with a JBL speaker charger and it worked immediately.
