did not work on my elitebook folio 1040 g3
Thanks man, that was very helpful.
These not working to reset the password bios
No working
bullshit , fake video . bios password will never removed by removing cmos battery , you need to reprogram the bios chip . what a waste of time
I download the bios from HP website for my model G3 1040 i7, did as the video shows but it seems like the laptop is stuck, the screen is blank fans are running and USB light is on. And that's as far as it goes.
Fake, you cannot bypass the biospassword with this, but you can pass the BOOT, thats something else
I have a question: You were talking about boot order and other tech nomenclature that i am not too savvy with. However, my admin bios pass is set and i do not know it; because i didnt set it. Also i can get to windows even after i try guessing the password and the system displays a lock up bios error msg. I just reboot and i can get back to windows. But i do want to be able to get into the bios on my hp elitebook 850 g5. So my question is after i do this are there other configurations i will have to make to get back into windows, and or will this affect me from getting back into windows?
works with the elitebook g1 ?
Harus belajar lagi sama yg profesional 😄👍🙏 salam kenal dari Cats lover Jakbar Indonesia
Is there a way to remove the unknown bios password completely and not just bypass it? I bought a laptop off ebay that's bios locked
Did you figure this out. I have one that is bios password locked also
Could you do it? I have the same laptop and I cannot enter the bios.@@anotherasian8473

I have an HP ProBook with the same issue. Came across this video, I'm going to attempt this method and see if it works. Thanks!
DID IT WORK?
No, unfortunately.
@@Blu3P0rc3l41n May i ask you your probook model?
Please what is the size of the screw needed?
Thankyou, how are you doing brother?
👍 Merci Ça marche
Laptops do NOT have passwords stored on the CMOS. They are stored on a eeprom chip which the BIOS battery doesn't effect!!
Pulling the CMOS battery worked years ago to clear BIOS passwords but it will not work on modern laptops.
not working
are you still locked out? im curious if this works
What would happend if I click enter reboot system without thumb drive
And if I do all of this and when I turn on my pc and like u did u put in a thumb drive did u install windows or what in there? And if I don’t put my thumb drive will I be able to go in windows will I lose all my stuff?
Why do you need thumb drive? Can I do that without thumb drive? If I remove the battery like you did would my files and everything gets removed?
Thank you for the video. It worked with an HP EliteBook Folio 1040G1 from Europe. The CMOS was resetted, I pressed Enter to acknowledge that the defauls would be loaded, I see external USB HDD, and with the proper Win10 USB stick it boots to Setup.
icant remove bios password ineed to flash the bios
SO FREAKING HELPFUL! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
putting the battery in looks very hard
I did reach the same conclusion and was hoping someone else had done it just to make sure. Much appreciated for this video :) Thanks
