You know, when you mash up the two songs, both their lyrics suddenly take a very, very different turn in meaning. Son Lux's Easy is about letting go if I read correctly, and Halsey's is I believe also about mental illness (she writes about it a lot). Put them together, you have a far more upbeat theme.

Nobody ripped anybody off. Halsey used the tracks from the Son Lux song to write her own song, after getting the proper license. We need more artists who can collaborate peacefully like that, because the two songs are each very unique, and it fosters a good environment for creativity to flourish. Artists too often steal Copyrighted material to use for their own gain, but that is not the case here.
We need more artists like that, and more people like you.
