Looks great i would have worn glasses with that Raptor spraying but.
Absolutely loving this journey. Hopefully when I’m in WA later this year this will be finished and I can get to see it in person 😊
Maybe next year at my bloody pace 🤣
The raptor came up great Always look forward to seeing your updates on this car Cheers
Thank you!! 🙏 🍻 cheers
Get much from tony down at Superoo ?
Not this build mate. Have used superoo in the past.
Well done mate. You are giving her a lot more love than she got on the production line. Coming along nicely.
Thanks mate she deserves a fresh start! 🍻
Looking good Brother. 👍

Sweating watching this bro😂😂😂
Haha yeah was bloody warm!! That light is killa!
Bang on man !!
Thank you sir 🍻
Bloody awesome Jamie, loving this build.
Thanks mate me too 🤣 🍻 cheers
Looks the part now ive been thinking of using raptor over body schutz. What gun you using 🤔
That gun came with the kit bud. Was ok but I’ve heard if you want a super fine grain you should by an eBay hvlp gun.
@@allterrainadventure sorry the gun 🔫 you sprayed the black
It’s a cheap gun but had a good review. “100B Ntools”
Does the job tho 😊
@owenbuttfield9876 yeah I’m stoked so far. I’ll see how it does with some direct gloss 2k in the engine bay next.
Awesome !
Thank you 🙏
Nice work. Awesome car!
Holy shit, that whale!!!😮
Looks good mate 🤙🏻
Cheers 🍻
Progress! Nice Jamie.
Thanks mate!!
Very good drive up that climb!
Thanks mate. Wish the camera did it justice
Those tracks looked sketchy as and Jamie just busts out the chinesey safety boots. Loving the content mate

Cherry old ford man. Gonna be fun watching the progress mate
Thank you sir, cheers 🍻
+1 for keeping the air conditioner.
Damn it 🤣
Kids these days have it so easy with the new led lights not the pencil beam torch of the 80s 😂😂 plus a/c is handy as plus no fog in winter
Haha yeah torch duties ain’t what it used to be
Mate good work on the car and the videos, great work banking them up by the way can’t wait to see how it all turns out. Cheers
Cheers mate!!
XB XC you would watch them rust as you drove them. strange how they have become popular as they never drove as well as the xw xy
I don’t ever remember them not being popular. Just getting rare now. As far as driving I always found them very similar.
Definitely didn’t bore me, have a great Christmas yourself and can’t wait for the next instalment 😊
Thanks mate! Cheers 🍻
Any way to retro fit a newer system that is integrated so it uses existing vents and sourcing an XC air con controls? If you're not going to take it right back to factory original then it may be a better way to go. Gets rid of the system under the dash but you would also have to source another centre console and it would be a cleaner look.
killa body for a xc
Yeah not wrong!
Merry Christmas James
You too mate and thanks for the support this year!! 🍻
Go to the bank. Show what worrh restored. Im shore get the cash. Do touch. Let panel beater do it correctly. That car has seen little rain. . Dip it . Start fresh and document all. God bless mate.
RUclips share. Go Aussie
🤣🤣 cheers 🍻
Never been a fan of aftermarket a/c especially when they cut the front of the console to fit I would consider vintage air at a later date or use some of the hardware that you have and make it a factory a/c setup using the vents already in the dash Good to have options 👍
Such a shame how they fit them up.
@ absolutely but in the 70s and 80s it was a cheapish option for people to get their cars fitted with a/c rather than trade them in for a new car with a/c. Just a bit ugly how they did it
Trust me, you would love the air-conditioning on a hot day. You must leave it in
If it was AC part of the package vin plate code back it goes if a dealer option look at it later.
Yeah that’s my thoughts.
Personally I would put an air con back in, it helps demist the interior on cold winter days and nights, plus makes it nicer for the whole family on the hot days.
I hear ya!
Shed time with the young fella, making memories there mate.
Absolutely mate!
The mor3 you get into it the better the car is. I think you would regret no putting air back into it. If not that dealer fit unit, you can piece together your own system using the factory dash vents. There are plenty of aftermarket replacement parts to make a factory style system . Vintage Air do a lot of replacement systems , but they are more tailored to custom looking systems for hot rods etc and factory style systems for classic US cars. Seek out one of the many Falcon GT resto companies for parts. That under dash system is desirable though as it was what most cars were fitted with at dealer level in that period. The XA GT I had used a similar system. As for seatbelts, there is a company called Seatbelt Solutions that can resto belts to new conduction. They replace frayed webbing, restore buckles including Rech roaming and zincing and restore the plastics. And it’s not expensive either. 👍
I am watching this now man that thing is bloody clean regarding the f all rust.
Yeah mate but don’t worry she has some demons to remove 😜
What a great solid rust free car, great find!
Excellent explanation of stripping down a car, along with some awesome Aussie sense of humour
Thanks mate just trying to make it relatable for the average bloke with limited resources.
First two steps in my resto. 1) a case of degreaser, 2) a case of WD40
Haha I hear ya!!
Step 1. Avoid the degreaser crap that comes in spray cans. Buy 5 litres of trade quality water based degreaser and dilute to the ratio as required. Step 1A buy brake cleaner for degreasing oil etc. Step1B. Buy hydrofluoric acid to remove rust. Step2. Buy good penetrating fluid from Wurth Ultra, Chemtech Deox or Penetrene as opposed to WD40. They literally clean the threads and breaks the bolts free.all these products will cut you work in half and save dollars over that ore packed cheap stuff.
Put a vintage ac in it I wish put ac in my Torana lol
I’ll look into it cheers!!🍻
More please 🙏
There is a lot of love for the falcon here! keep it up!!
Thank you sir! Definitely feeling the love for this car ey!
New subscriber. Very interested in seeing the build of your Falcon 👍👍👍
