The TSL-2 programmer should do it just fine. A bit of difference depending on whether you have turn key ignition or push button start ignition. But, yes, it should get the fobs working again as long as they are not damaged, have good batteries, etc. tomskey.com/pages/toyota to find yours.

Hi there, as long as your vehicle came from the factory with remote start, then the remote start button on this key will work. This key does not add remote features that your vehicle did not have before. Update - there might be opportuinty to help you here. If interested, send an email to help@tomskey.com and ask if you can be a beta tester. Include photo of your current fob, let us know what you are trying to add. For most vehicles, just adding a key with remote start doesn't add the feature. But, based on your comment about forscan, it just might work. For example, share a link if you've read online or seen a video of someone do this - use their 4 button fob and program a 5 button fob to a Ford Focus and have remote start work.

We'll be updating our website shortly. Please note - this newer vehicle does NOT have a do-it-yourself fob programming solution. I'd the fob let's you start the engine when you hold the key to the push button ignition and try to start the vehicle, then you can use this solution to make a spare key fob.

We do not have mobile start products. Good idea though. One thing to consider, once a spare key is programmed, it should be no different to the remote start whether it's OEM or aftermarket. However, sometimes if an aftermarket remote start has been installed, it gets uninstalled during the process of programming a spare key. So if you plan to do both you may want to consider which you do first.

For Jeep Grand Cherokee 2018-2022, the EZ Installer™ Programmer will NOT work. You must contact a local car dealership or automotive locksmith for assistance in programming it to your vehicle (additional cost). Currently, we don't have a DIY solution for this key, but you can purchase the key from us and have it programmed at a dealership or by a local locksmith.

FYI - you'll probably save money on buying the OEM key fob from us and then taking to dealership or local locksmith to program.

No. You effectively have lost all keys. That chip has the digital fingerprint the vehicle computer needs to see in order to let the engine start. You'll need help from a locksmith or dealership to make a new key. We have a couple partnerships that can help you. tomskey.com/pages/lost-all-your-keys

Hi! Did you ever find a fix for this? We are having the same problem w/ our 2016 CX-5. Programmed the new key from Tom’s, but only works if we hold the key to Start/Stop button and the unlock/lock buttons on the key do not work at all. So frustrating.

@@TomsKeyCompany-DIY Ended up buying a refurbed oem key from oem car key mall before you replied. $60 dollars since it is used. Hopefully, it programs correctly. If not then I will check out yours. Jeep is currently back ordered on my key fob from the dealership.

There might be a fuse burned out that's related to the ignition push button start. I recommend checking on the fuse panel for anything like that.

Yes - even if your existing key is damaged, it still starts the engine so you can drive. So, yes you can use the kit to program a new spare key.

Astro Start sounds like an aftermarket remote start system. I do not believe our DIY programming tools will work for your unique situation.

A person MUST have one working key fob in order to use Tom's Key service to make a spare. tomskey.com has kits that include the programming device and one key fob. If you need more than one key fob, add a loose key into the order with the kit as you can use the programmer to make multiple keys to a single vehicle.

@@progresssonsgaming I think it's best that you sent a message to customer service. Go to help.tomskey.com. Share info about your vehicle year, make, model and let them know that you do not have any working key fobs but can open the car doors. They can look into the specifics to help you out.

Some local places will cut keys you bring in. Others will refuse and give a story that keys bought online are poor quality (we buy keys from the same suppliers that provide keys to locksmiths). I think they just want to sell the entire key to you. Anyway - so you do not have ot use our Key By Photo service. But depending on your local locksmiths / hardwarestores you may or may not have trouble getting it cut.
