I dont make much money so i can only afford a few hundred here and there so i need to be patient and smart , good thing im handy lol , im thinking ill be close to 4 grand by the time im done but it will be all new so still cheeper then the wrecks i see people asking 4 grand for , just need the weather to get warm then i can focus on the exterior...take xare and talk to ya later ..

Everyone loves the red eye , but id rather have a godzilla 66 if i got to choose , only seen one come up on the market near me but never got to buy it , the search continues........thanks or wqtching

I dont see the godzilla too often so if you see one grab it up , maybe you will get lucky and get a 66...keep me posted ..

Yes it does have reverse , just like a 15-91 ....

Marketplace is filled with them , local thrift stores usually have them as well , there are tons of them out there maybe even a family member might own one still , ask around im sure someone you know must have one you might get for free , i got a few given to me just by putting an ad on marketplace saying looking for old unwanted sewing machines and got some donated ...they are out there just need to do some foot work and you will find one ....thanks for watching and i hope you find what your looking for ......

Great machines , the 15-91 was very popular for a good reason , tuff and indestructible, i hope the people who own this machine love it as much as we do ,,,it is a beauty..

Tons still on the market , i found these on the side of the road , if its vintage and old i will save it , havent got one yet i couldn't fix , i agree the tuffest machines are the oldest machines, if your looking just check marketplace , you will be able to sew for less then 50 bucks and on the best quality machines made , todays plastic are just toys , good luck and thanks for watching

Well thank you very much , your words are a great gift fof Christmas thank you, carpentry is my favorite thing to do and when its for me i take all the time it needs not what i need, quality only happens when you care enough to do your best , sounds like your dad built a dream and i can relate to that , im happy you enjoyed the machines and the video, it was fun to bring the sewing machines and camper together in one video , ill show more when its done , getting closer every day....well thats enough jibber jabber for now take carw my friend, hope to talk again soon ....

I like the 15 91 for sewing patches on my leather vest, its like the tractor of singers , got the strength and easy to work on , plus more of them on the market still so parts easy to find, as for the 401 i never used mine much just tuned it and sold , not really a sewing person just like working on them and the feel of them , its like nothing you can buy today ..,,thanks for watching and hope to hear from ya again soon...

The interesting thing about the 15-91 is that the combination of power and the "who cares, whateves, I'm going to make a perfect lockstitch" robustness of that oscillating hook let's me sew super filmy silk and other slippery fabrics with a vintage walking foot with a perfect stitch just as easily as I can hem a pair of jeans in the same thickness as the factory original. The 401A was very close to the end of real Singer quality. The hook drive gears are not only hobbed, but paired and polished together as a pair for each single machine to produce the smoothest work possible. The stitches are every bit as perfect as the 201 and you have all the versatility of a workhorse decorative zig-zag machine. I'd never get rid of either.

Oh you got a 115 too , nice . This one is pretty dirty and the paint is crackling, probably has never been loved , way overdue for a deep clean id say ..happy i helped , thanks for watching always enjoy your comments...

I think the 115 is the only machine to have them , like the 66 red eye , and if im correct i remember you saying the 115 wasn't available in your area, would make sense considering the low production numbers ,probably only sold in USA and Canada, i do believe mine was a Quebec made machine but not confirmed....

Yes the 99 and the 192 and the 66 all use the same needle plate and bobbin cover , i used a 99 cover on my 66 . Thanks for watching and commenting...
