They also use phrases that would be genuine compliments if they were sincere, to trap their victims. They'll find something great about you, compliment you on it, say that you are amazing/very strong/intelligent etc - but, while these are wonderful things to say when genuine, in the narcissist's case it's to lure you into their den. Then, when you start to trust these creatures or even develop feelings for them - they pull the rug from under your feet by suddenly ghosting you. Very suddenly, without explanation or reason - one day you are happily talking, next day they refuse to take your calls, refuse to reply to your emails, don't show up to planned dates etc! Don't waste energy trying to make sense of it when this happens! You cannot make sense of insanity. When you get ghosted - you block the creature everywhere (emails, phone, social media etc) and you never ever speak to the creature again! Someone who can hurt and abuse you to that level will never make a trustworthy partner or friend!

What about using the phrase "I can help you financially?"
