This song is "Nessun dorma" from the Puccini opera Turandot. I saw him sing it with Third World at Red Rocks Aug 25, 2022. Was so amazing it made me cry. AJ was so overcome with emotion he had to take break. He clearly gave it his all, and he provided everyone who was there with an unexpected treat I will never be able to forget.

The thing about recording yourself is that you hear mistakes - sure, but you also hear things that are good. Like the tone; it's great. You can remember that setting so you can reproduce it. With the mistakes, notice which chords are giving you trouble and work on them.

Yeah, it's a tiny little Fender Mustang amp, about a year old. It was on a preset tone, I think it was called something like Vintage Reverb? I'll check when I get home.

In the past I never really liked Danelectro guitars. For some reason I'm starting to like them. That one is really nice.
This one is a throwback to the old Ventures Mosrite guitars. It sounds superb in person. My crappy cell phone video does not do it justice.
