"I don't want to add more hiding spots." When you keep animals - what YOU want comes 2nd. What comes FIRST is what the animals NEED. And cichlids NEED a LOT of hiding spots. Suck it up, and add more clutter. 🙄

Where I live on the coast of Australia we have plenty wild ones as well as blue tongues. Crossing the street usually. Of course there's plenty of Eastern Brown snakes slithering around too!
