Did the clock tower ever have bells before the speaker system was installed?

I wonder If they ever had real bells back in the day before they used that speaker system.

@MrDeltamd88 I'd say Yes. The view wasn't completely obstructed by the wing, and sitting on the left side gave me a great view of Miami when we landed. It was Seat 23A. :)

@dcthomas98 It was actually very short. The flight is listed as taking an hour and 26 minutes but we had a tailwind over New Jersey and we got there in 55 minutes. It was a very good flight though.

@littelG333 JetBlue is a great airline. They get you to your destination quick and fast. The in flight TV is great too! Have a great trip :)

@Keagkid It was a Friday morning flight, and was not entirely full, but most of the seats were occupied. So, I would say it was about 80% full.
