I've never lived in a place like it. Even the red clay in south Carolina never gave any trouble like there is around here. My house is split in most of corners and even water infiltrates through the foundation some times. You almost have to dig down to bedrock to start construction with engineered fill.

I've been married with kids my whole career so I wouldn't know anything about that. Others in the comments may be able to add to the conversation. Gotcha. Yes this was straight up me asking him questions. It could have easily been a live stream. I deleted about 20 minutes off of the whole thing. @@davidtinney9463 well, it’s still a thing for recruits to sneak them in, but they get them 30min-1hr a day depending on performance, milestones, and accomplishments. It’s still earned. There are companies that allow them more it seems.

I wish all my squadron members had some brainwashing at Basic. I can barley get them turn the paperwork in so they can get paid after a trip. Maybe Army is different than the Air Force. 😀

Hopefully not everyone was lied to, but it definitely happens. Best option is Air National Guard. You have a long time between joining and going to Basic to change your mind.

Even as a teenager I heard enough stories that I knew you couldn't trust active duty recruiters. The best you can work with is Air National Guard recruiters because you can truly pick your own AFSC/MOS and I've seen many airmen change their minds before going to basic while attending drills and get out no trouble.
