The audio is creating the entire drawing you're seeing, moving the beam across the screen very quickly. The audio frequency is the number of times it's redrawing it per second.

@@hexialWow! I’ve tried some ”oscilloscope art” before, but this is the best one I’ve seen! Gotta try plugging the output into my scope and see how it looks :-) I wonder if the compression will be visible?

Thank you so much! 😁 I've been playing around with Ableton for a while now, and I think it's definitely easier to get nicer fatter bases on analogue hardware - almost effortless

You Dont know how Good That is to Hear my man ,, Not that im against using a DAW ,, I Spent at least 5 hours a day dor 4 yrs. Using REASON 5 before i got my 1st synth ,, and only because my Laptop wasent powerful enough to instal Ableton id still be using one .. Mainly for recording and FX ,as its an ongoing Nightmare having to use a Cannon EOS 600 @@hexial

@@jaffajenkins Reason's great :) I have a friend who writes house/techno on it. These days I record my performance videos to my phone using a USB audio interface just because it's really convenient

Yer Not wrong There Compadre ,,, if it hadent been for my Lowzy Inept Laptop i would have gone with REASON 11 As i Love the layout and REALLY Miss the fabulous Dr Rex Drum sequencer ,,, i Also was looking forward to being able to use my Phone to record and edit my vids especially now as theres so many wicked producing Apps ... Thanks Alexander! 🖤 Congrats on getting the Moog Sound Studio - such an excellent set of units. I don't have a Patreon page, and I haven't really shared patches in the past. This was from a few years ago so I can't really remember the details of the patches, but the M32 is doing the bass which I believe was taking the VCO SAW out into the EXT IN then using the Mix control to blend saw + square, which sounds nice. Plus PWM from the LFO. On the DFAM I pretty much always send the PITCH out to NOISE LEVEL input to create a snare.
