Very relaxing

Beautiful folk music. I don't understand what they say in those songs, but it doesn't matter. The music and the voices are wonderful!

My friends and I saw her 1-woman show in Philadelphia in the 1970's. A long time ago, but as fresh in my mind as any exceptional artistic performance. She was brilliant and before her time- using the multi-media that at the time were available to develop her characters and enthrall the audience! She was brilliant and deserves awards she has not yet received for her brilliance. She is charming and captivating; funny and thought-provoking, all at once. I have never seen a better 1-person performance, and I have seen many live 1-person shows that were also wonderful. However, here performances were completely unique. I am grateful for having had the opportunity to attend the event where Lily Tomlin was able to express, display and extend her amazing talents, skills, and perspectives on the world. For those whom also saw the show: her "luxuriant hair" was indeed noteworthy.
