The difference between heat-trained and heat-damaged hair.
Do you know the difference between heat-damaged hair and heat-trained hair? 🧐
First, make sure you save 💾 this educational video so you can reference back to it.
Heat-damaged hair is hair that is permanently altered by either using excessive heat or heat that is too high for the hair's texture. Once the hair is heat-damaged, you can cut ✂️ off the damaged hair and continue using heat with a thermal protectant such as @designessentials Silk Essentials Thermal Strengthening Serum combined with the correct heat for your hair type and texture. Or, if you are not ready to entirely cut off the heat damage, you can discontinue heat on the hair and slowly trim away the damaged ends.

I come in with my hair in a low pony or down(i offten dont have hairties) but i always hold my hair up for my stylist. Shes amazing and i do all i can to make her job easier. Last time i was there, i told her to colour me with fun colours. She asked what i had in mind. I said have fun ❤
