More of your work. Stand-up. You have in-directly encouraged me to stay the course. i have 4 sons I am raising. The stories and the experiences that you share from childhood are unbelievable. What I mean is that its like you are repeating exactly what my life is life raising these boys. When you said your Mom says 'Look I can't teach you how to be a man but I cant teach you how not to be a bitch." I involuntarily cried. I've never heard that anywhere. No one told me that I just damn sure apply that to this mission. My son's father died praying on his knees one morning. I got sons 25,23 and 18 and I make it point to nurture their manhood, allow them to be men, and make sure I am the Mom that is stern enough to mold them to Grounded, masculine, fearless leaders. I work all the time and feel so guilty having to be Ms. Captain-in-ya-ass-boy all the time and then expect them to get the fact that I am consumed by their well being, To hear you speak on it made cry involuntarily and then laugh. You are an example of that. I don't want them to see women, especially black women as angry, mean or contentious, It's just a blessing to see that you honor to respect the black mother dynamic. Another thing is the realness of how these women out there can be some animals. FACTS. Look the man is quick to get that blame but damn that. I used to be a Case Managers for Women in NOLA and I stay praying for my boys and men in general. Let it be known ya heard me. They aren't enough examples of brotherhood out here. I believe that is why 85 keeps my attention. The fact you got three men of various ages and experiences that can just wrap about the reality they way men do and laugh about it. To some people it's crude but men mainly tell the truth if you listen and get out of your feelings. I see that here with my boys, they are 4 different people but very much Brother Brothers. You are appreciated for opening up and sharing your reality. Thanks for indirectly inspiring. I hope you and your family to friends and love ones maintain through this change. Idk where you came from you a breath of fresh that a lot of us need. Many Continued Blessings and Success
