I thought with two players, the zombie horde from the beach to the hotel is more manageable. But nope. It still looked tricky. I died many times there because it seems the horde of zombie was endless. And it only gets harder the higher your level becomes. hahaha. Great video as always. I am really enjoying this adventure.

@32:07, there's a trick for that keycard. So SPOILER: When you come back to this restaurant and the dead body of that dude that died during the cutscene is already cleaned up - go back to the bathroom downstairs. You will see his dead body there along with the said missing keycard.

Buy all blueprints. It's cheap and you can use it to upgrade your weapons. Buy gunpowder and fuse when it is available - you will use it to unlock areas and fabricate bullets. Sell all extra crap - leave at least 25 each item and sell the rest. Create a variety of mod per weapon because some zombie are immune to some status effects. Also, as much as you can avoid arming two gun weapons that use the same type of ammo - for obvious reasons.

@17:37, I don't know the exact mechanics of this but in the Storage Locker, where you store extra weapons (especially named ones that you cannot sell but do not want to use), there is a separate tab for "Unclaimed Weapons". I think you can find the weapon you threw away but didn't pick up in there. But I've tried it many times and it doesn't always work for me. But sometimes it does and it's neat.

@10:43, The best way to defeat zombies in the sewers are electric weapons. You just have to make sure to be off the water before you fire those weapons, and the zombies will die without much effort. This is where the electric shuriken shines the most. For me, I also modified a nailgun to be electric, so one nail to the waters and everyone in the water bzzzttt away.

Congratulations, you just unlocked 2 new zombie types: The Slobbers and the Screamers. They now join the "Oh-f*ck-it's them" group with Crushers. HAHAHA. Also, you unlocked a new curveball - the electric shuriken. You know what mixes well with electricity right? Water and fuel. Make of that what you will. Have fun.

Just so you guys know, I would absolutely not mind if you did longer videos with full loot goblin mode on, I love the in depth looking around and talking about everything! As soon as I finished the game I started watching this and I'm just loving watching you react to the game and the world!

Really enjoying watching you guys play! It’s also a bit painful seeing all the loot I can’t pick up because my inventory is maxed out. While I don’t know the official solution, here’s what works for me: whenever I reach a safe zone, like Emma’s mansion, I use the extra inventory items (like scraps, fabrics, fasteners, etc.) to craft weapon mods if needed. After that, I sell most of the surplus to traders for extra cash. As a rule of thumb, I usually keep a maximum of 25 of the common items and save more of the rarer materials that are essential for fabricating or upgrading weapon mods. It’s been a solid system so far! I hope this helps.

@28:48, I think the "zombie respawning" had improved since the last time I played this game. They've always has respawn through coming out of vents, sewers, etc. But so many times, zombies just materialized out of thin air. But this time (maybe with an update???), materializing out of thin air is way less common.

@26:53 Some locked rooms/doors/gates need the keys/keycards to open. But some just need a creative solution - especially those doors that are labeled "Opens from the other side". Those locked doors are story-based but some can be bypassed through creative means - ie. breaking the glass, etc.

This is really fun to watch. I am enjoying it. Playing the same area of the game after watching your playthrough. Another note that I always forget because I always panic. But zombies respawn. If you are in one area and you run "out-of-bounds", the zombies will follow you and yeah, you can kill them BUT, the area you just left will just respawn similar zombies and you will have to kill them again. So it is best to kill the zombies inside the area "bounds". Respawn speed would be much slower for that area then.

BTW, for the fuse boxes, you can buy the fuses from Carlos - the guy behind the bar near the workbench in Emma's mansion.

@46:11, some keys can be found in places as loots but more often than not, it is dropped by named zombies. And those named zombies often appear only in certain conditions and some are also event/story locked.

This was so fun to watch. I always play games alone but I see the perk of playing with friends now. I just need a friend to play this game with but problem for another day. TIPS though, use the curveballs - You had the shuriken and the bait equipped. So when swarmed, use the bait as crowd control to distract some of the zombie while killing the others. There will be better curveballs in the future. For the weapon management, based on your inventory, scrap the ones with just black background. Typically, those don't sell for much. But those with gray background and of course those with colored backgrounds are worth the inventory slot they occupy. Also, if I remembered correctly, unused weapons and "used until it is unusable" weapons sell for the same price. So you can use those weapons during a location run and then sell them later for the same price. I usually use the upgraded weapons as a last resort (for swarms and for big bad zombies) - especially at this point in the game. Happy hunting in Hell-A.

@16:53, for this kind of puzzle, there are color coded circuit boards you had to destroy before the door can be unlocked. In this case, there's a blue circuit board that was destroyed via a shuriken, I assume. Then the green one was on the back. You can follow the color-coded wires to find the circuit boards to destroy. If you break the glass before destroying the boards, it will create an alarm sound that would call the zombies. The higher level you are, the higher level the zombies would be - some with special skills - deadly skills. Or you could also destroy the yellow triangle SOTL boxes to avoid the alarm. Although that wouldn't open the locked door. Also, @17:01, you picked up the post it on the board while you were looting for the wires. So it wasn't really broken.

@14:26, that electric box above the red loot chest is what powers the electricity. So to deactivate that electric current on the floor, you could throw a shuriken at it or a throwable weapon. Then viola, no more zapping. This kind of puzzle appears many times in Dead Island 2.

My gramma called the boot or trunk a 'turtle' so there's that.
