Amateur Hour Restorations
США
Добавлен 15 янв 2024
Here at Amateur Hour Restorations, we are not professionals. We love old vehicles and love to see them back on the road. We also work on our daily drivers. It’s not always pleasant, but after a few busted knuckles and some yelling, the job usually gets done. We do what we know, and try to learn as we go the things we don’t know.

You should remove or put plastic on the entire dash. I sand blasted and ground on my rusty 70 Super Bee and after I painted and completed the car 10 years later I still had crap falling down out of the dash.
Good point, I just took the whole thing out a couple days ago. Thanks for the tip
Indiana Sherrifs cars
Bondo ,Rot, Rust it doesn't matter, that car still looks good.
One of the best looking cars ever made, in my opinion.
The GL had tan interior. Still a nice replica
Yeah, he preferred his to be black
A real beauty
Yes it is
You forgot the roof.lol

They were sausages, but yes I do. LOL I was in a hurry and was really hungry
Looks great, I'm jealous....
You and me both!
I think the '68 thru '70 Chargers were probably my favorite. Good luck with her.
Yes, you are not alone in that. Just wish they had a full frame.
Beautiful car, looks great the way it is. I wish i had it.
Thank you, I’m hopeful we can do it justice
If you have the body dipped, it should be interesting to see how much metal actually emerges from the tank.
Well we will see once I start stripping it down. It is a southern car, so hopefully it’s not horrible
I've worked with your brother. Great man! I know he loves that car, and I personally would love to see a full restoration. God bless y'all!
Thank you for that. Will do my best and hopefully it’s what he’s hoping for when it’s done
For "sale" hopefully will "sell"
Oops! Lol.

It's a runner
Cool stuff.
It's a really nice show, swap meet ain't bad. Nothing like Springfield Ohio though

Check your pinion nut first.
Yeah we're just gonna go thru it completely
Like new 35k no low ballers i know what i got
Lmao we all know those people
Uhh dat not pose to do dat
Agreed lol
who tf put a pipe wrench on that shock ?
Thank god I’m not the only person bothered by it.
There was no pipe wrench put on it. It's the way it's made
@@AmateurHourRestorationsit just looks like someone scratched the chromed bottom part somehow
Hey, you're wearing the hat!!!
One of the hats lol
I saw some ratty rods, so my truck will fit in just fine... Hi Dave
Your truck will fit in
Do u just spin the rotor to make it do that? I want to test mines because i get a clunk noise every time i shift i to reverse sometimes forward aswell
Yeah, just jack up the back and spin the wheel or rotor if the wheel is off. Back and forth and watch everything. You should hear where it is coming from
If you're lucky, it's just a u joint, possibly a motor or tranny mount
Did they sneak across jonesboro again or was somebody there to stop them?
Not sure what happened, but something did lol
Time for an upgrade 😅
Went back to the original 57
Tighten the nut it will be fine 😅
Slightly Excessive backlash on pinion gear 😂
Just a little bit lol
What caused that ?
Not sure yet, haven't tore into it.
Hope something you can fix by Ducktails
Hoping to have the original back in this weekend
Awesome cars
Agreed
Sounds good 😊
Yeah, really happy with that part
Congratulations @@
Thank you, but it's still got a few things to be done
Proud of you both!!

@@AmateurHourRestorations Courtney gets annoyed how many times kids and I want to push it every time we go out. Lol
I’m going to scrap the original frame for my ‘55 but plan to cut off all of the body mounts, as the rails were shot but the mounts were in excellent condition. Just need to figure out a way to get them to who needs them (sure your frame was finished by the time I’m posting this comment).
Yes the frame is done. Unfortunately my original frame was actually in better condition
Looking good.
Thank you
