Yeah it can be tough to get the Alakazam. Best way is to use the pack points and get one. I was lucky to get the second one through a wonder pick. And Thanks, the art on the Alakazam is probably one of my favorites in the game.

​@@x_vanished I know this is way later and some changes in MD have taken place, but since Invoker has been unbanned I've been running a small Assault Mode package in my deck (since Assault Sentinel can be summoned off of Invoker and sets up a Gottoms Synchro; plus, Assault Sentinel/Beast are both viable discards for Kerass in the Tri-Brigade variant) The package is: Assault Sentinel, Psi-Reflector, Assault Beast, and Assault Mode Activate; Beast isn't necessary for the Invoker line, but having it in deck saves you from most situations where drawing the Psi-Reflector with no Sentinel access kills the entire line (not including the exact scenario in which you draw the Assault Mode also) Invoker is also another tribute for Gottoms's hand rip, or puts another Saber on board to summon Faultroll (Invoker summon Sentinel sets you up for both Faultroll and Second Call) I've also been testing out running Assault Synchron, but I'm not entirely sold on it; the idea is that the damage from the effect can trigger Reflection to search Second Call (or Emergency Call or Saber Hole, if you're playing either), and Assault Synchron + Faultroll = ASS Dragon into Baronne I much prefer the Tri-Brigade variant, personally; full Tri-Brigade combo (Fraktall access with discard) guarantees Rescue Cat access without using your Normal Summon, and since Cat can summon Airbellum + Kerass in niche cases for Naturia Beast there is no need for Valerifawn

Hello, there is a couple of deck lists posted under a couple of the comments.

I can understand how you feel haha. Tri Spright has a bit of a learning curve. Takes a little time to get comfortable with the plays and setups. Rescue Cat is nice right now in the deck to give you the instant gigantic spright. But when Spright Sprind releases in masterduel, rescue cat will most likely be taken out to make room for nimble angler and nimble beaver. That engine is alot more popular and pretty versatile in the tcg.

@@x_vanished Understandable. My only problem with using Rescue cat, while powerful, is that since it's a level 4, if it gets negated, that's your entire turn. At least if you use 3 nimble instead, it's less powerful atm, but if the beaver gets negated you still have plays since it's level 2. But yeah, Sprind will be huge and getting pitknight will be awesome too, so we can stop running 2 farijeet and have a more impactful filler 2 link.

@@Adalon- Yeah I agree with that. It hurts when the opponent uses ash blossom on the rescue cat. The only follow-up after that is to have a tri brigade kerass in hand or to have a spright starter. I will definitely love to have the nimble package in the deck. And also will be great when pitknight releases.

So, what I'm seeing is that this board can be made as long as I summon that Herald monster, it's 1 card gateway too.

@@kagemushashien8394 Yeah most of the boards are setup from the masteflare hyperion. Then the celestial link monster helps to extend the boards to get things like krystia or other boss monsters out.

@@x_vanished What's the ratio of that board? Meaning what is the chance you're going to make a strong board.

@@kagemushashien8394 usually a majority of the time, at the bare minimum, you can make a Barrone, a master flare and usually have agent moon on board with a set card in the backrow. Cause there are many starters to make that board. Opening diviner of the herald, agent earth with a Neptune, etc. When you have extra extenders like an instant fusion, protected spirit or use the newer agent support like agent destruction Venus, you can add extra things to the board like a borreload savage or get to the Krystia play. Because it gives you that extra fairy body on board to extend the plays.

Can definitely reach platinum. I think it can still do well in diamond if the deck sets up naturia beast. Will be great against spright runick that will be popular. And can still contend against swordsoul and branded. So as a rogue option.

I love that idea. I hope konami does incorporate something like this for the other agent monsters.

Hi Tumus, current master duel meta is runick and labrynth, mixed in with branded despia, swordsoul, floowandereeze. This does pretty well against runick with getting a Naturia Beast out. And does well against labrynth with naturia barkion and popping backrow with hyunlei. So I would still use infinite impermanence and ash blossom, as the core handtraps. Maxx c if you see more despia and swordsoul. Can also play cosmic cyclone in the main to counter runick stuff. Tcg is a whole other story haha. With Bystial, Tearlament and spright as the meta.

@@GarudaInfernous fastest way is to play multiple copies of the gottom's second call. you rescue cat, go into airbellum and dark soul, special summon faultroll, synchro into hyunlei, then bring back airbelllum with faultroll's effect, synchro into gottoms with faultroll and airbellum, then play gottoms second call to bring back faultroll and a dark soul. can rip 3 to 4 cards in that opening.

And I realized it’s one of my only main decks that I don’t have built so I wanted to have a decent build that I could use for fun when I want but I didn’t wanna run the Tri-Brigade engine so I appreciate this!

@@jdcONhizPC No problem. X-Sabers was also one of my favorite decks back in the day. Cold wave, to rescue cat, to Hyunlei plays haha. Or Emmersblade, crash to get Fulhelmknight out and book of moon/enemy controller their monster. I think you'll have fun with this build. Summoner monk can get to rescue cat easily, and transmodify is great when used on a xx-saber darksoul to get into a rescue cat. Hand traps are a thing, but called by the grave, ash blossom and crossout designator are there to help. Tri Brigade version is probably the more competitive one, but the pure build is alot of fun.

@@braydonpost8398 I would say X-Sabers are more aggressive. It can play well to break boards with hyunlei and tries to swarm the board. Fun thing also is that it can go for a more midrange/control based play by setting up the field with naturia beast.

Yeah I feel you on that. It was pretty consistent before the last big banlist they had. 3 pot of prosperity and cystron halquifibrax helped alot with opening plays. And 2-3 crossout designator helped with handtraps, but now it's not as consistent. It still has its power plays, but opening up shine balls and other stuff isn't ideal lol. I still have alot of fun playing agents though. Punk engine with deernote may help a bit when it gets added.

@@jdcONhizPC it can be a nice opening play sometimes if you don't open Faultroll. You can rescue cat to go into xx-saber darksoul and Valerifawn to go into Naturia Beast. Acts as an Imperial order against the opponent. Or go into it depending on matchups. Great against sky striker, pendelum decks, even branded despia as they won't be able to play branded opening or branded fusion.

Hi Clekoon, yeah the wording for Venus Agent of Destruction is a bit tricky. At the end of its text, it says you can only use 1 "The agent of destruction - venus effect per turn." So that means if you special summoned Venus Agent of destruction by banishing an Agent of Creation Venus, you won't be allowed to special summon the shine balls that turn. So I worked around this by special summoning Agent of Destruction Venus using Celestial Knightlord Parshath's effect. Parshath's effect lets you special summon a fairy from the hand when a fairy leaves your field that turn. You just have to banish a fairy from the grave, then special summon a fairy with a higher level than the one just banished. So that triggers when a fairy leaves even when doing a synchro summon or link summon. When Agent of Destruction Venus gets special summoned this way, you will be able to use the other effect and summon the shine balls. But the other workaround is to use Master Flare Hyperion and dump destruction Venus to copy the effect. Hope this helps and keep rocking with the Agents! I love this deck!

I was having a bit more fun trying out a pure x saber build, but the tri brigade version is definitely way better. Any other big cards you use in your x saber build with tri brigade? I also use tri brigade with my gladiator beast deck. It’s a lot of fun.

@@Maniaco. lol it does brick alot. I may have to do that. We need Advent of Adventure. That quick play spell helps this deck alot with consistency. But for now, usually you'll need any bird plus magnificent map to unbrick the hand. activate map, reveal any floo bird, banish robina, then you summon and can bring robina back to hand. Gold sarcophagus is another card you can use to try and banish a robina. Then summon any bird to bring it back to hand and get the play going.

I'll need to try that out. True King is quite good lol. I also want to try out the punk engine when deernote comes out.

@@x_vanished basically after Diviner Trias combo search Sechste into Sigrun or into Dritte then search Sigrun. If you go the Dritte route then link off Sechste and Dritte into Union Carrier, equip Eva and use Sigrun effect to special summon ditching Eva. This also triggers Eva so you can remove the 2 linked off Valkryies to add to your hand. Field should be Carrier, True King, and your hand is whatever you got off Eva.
