Théotime Langlois de Swarte is a passionate and eclectic violinist with a keen interest in researching the imitation of the voice and the infinite diversity of its colours. His musical research focuses as much on the baroque violin as on the instrument within a modern setting, and his repertoire extends from the 17th century to contemporary works.
A keen chamber musician, Théotime collaborates with artists including Jean Rondeau, Justin Taylor, Victor Julien-Laferriere, Thomas Dunford, Eva Zaïcik, and William Christie, who is a prevalent supporter of the violinist’s artistry.
