I remember about 15 years (gods has it been THAT long?! 😳) when some genius upriver decided to flood the Missouri and it got so bad that the Salute To Labor statue was just about underwater and that sucker is almost 30 feet tall! Edit: I was wrong. It was 2011 (still, long time ago lol) and it crested at least halfway up the side.
