This week, I am taking a break from my Shiva temple series for some old fashioned Backbencher Adventure. A quick tutorial.
HDRI images are one of he coolest parts of using Vray in Sketchup. The process is so satisfying and fun to watch. But also very important.

A render style made of render elements from Vray, it has a very psychedelic effect and even quite fun to watch. Using Photoshop for Lens Blur effect Photoshop and Vray are used as main softwares along with Sketchup. But these passes can be taken from 3Ds Max, Revit, Rhino, etc.

What are the differences between using the hdri in the background or on a dome light?

Dome is good too. Keep exploring.

How do you get those reflections across the ground? In the all black and yellow render it looks like the lines are almost acting as emissive materials, but when I do it they do not affect the reflective base surface.
Switch off the sunlight. It might work.

Great presentation. When I apply the Toon material to objects in my scene, the base material appears but there are no outlines. Do you know a solution for this issue? I'm also in Rhino WIP which might explain any buginess, especially in a less commonly-used material. Thanks for the video, hope you do more.
Wow, just found the solution. I switched the render engine to CPU from GPU or CUDA, and the outlines appear. Thanks for the video!

Great question... Its a Vray rectangular light.
@@thebackbencher5710 The tree is also nice and it looks similar to the final one in the other video with Charles Correa's house. Are they from the same library, maybe somewhere online?
@@omtulsi I just took a slender looking tree from the warehouse, removed all its foliage to make it look more like models from Charles Correa's office.

what is the light source which you are using??? Is it a dome light or a simple sunlight??
Hdri map had bright spots that act as a light source
does a 4gb graphic card render a photorealistic view?
It may be less for Vray.
