i find adachi equal parts relatable and reprihensible, and i can never tell if its the child inside me that's inspired by his ability to turn his pains and hates into an impetus for his beliefs and power, or if its the adult part of me that identifies with a man pushed into a mental corner by nothing but his own misgivings and respects his ability to transcend that, and truly, finally become *something* before he fades away from this planet entirely. regardless, he's a horrible person made worse by circumstance, but i love that every year or so something happens in my life that makes me come back to this game and really flip the way I see him and the lessons his arc is trying to teach. Im still not even sure if he's necessarily "well written", but conceptually i find him endlessly fascinating and fun to study. a character of all time, if ever i saw one.

Imagine if there was a sort of "end reward" or "ng+" thing (aside from p5r's ng+) that would allow you to return to a finished save and basically free roam through the empty palaces without having to fight the person's shadow, and while every other palace would have the normal theme, Okumura's palace- and potentially Akechi's, too -would have a slowed, tempo and a sort of "lifeless" pitch, because in canon, both Okumura and Akechi were killed, and not just changed.
