Hi thanks for response. You're right. This was kind of a practice video. I had more confusion about taking the mirror off so I thought I'd share on how I did it. To put a new one on, you just kind of stick it into place.

Hey sorry for late reply. I got this from Amazon an affiliate link amzn.to/3JzBH9t After 4 months of use one of the best cases I have used in terms of feel and finish. Holds up well against bumps and nicks.
Do the silicone edges of the new case have similar feel the apple case liquid silicone ?
No I think it's smoother with more of a matte finish. As far as I remember apple liquid silicon is more glossy type. Hope that answers your question
