A reading from my poetry book, "I Walk Slowly." I wrote this based on a dangerous event from Valentine's Day 2009, when I was almost raped by a serial criminal with a history of slashing women with knives after luring them into a hotel. He was arrested 2 days after I encountered him, I found out when police called me for questioning. If you like this poem, please check out my book! You can orde...

Biber Passacaglia on viola - Neesa Sunar
❤❤❤sounds lovely! I saw your article about the sensory overload. Very reassuring to me as I didn't meet supportive doctors/psychs. It does give me muscle spasm, injuries, and joint pains, more and more anger as I grow older, I think I'm gonna give it up but I'm glad you find ways to make it work ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
Music available on IMSLP for free: imslp.org/wiki/Aphantasia_and_Fugue_State_(Fine,_Elaine)
very well played, Bravo
Thank you for your video! I love the articulation and intonation!
What a great piece! And played just beautifully.
Wonderful played 🙏🎶🎻, all the best to the Violist and of course to the pianist, also Wonderful played! All the best to these Musicians 🍀🍀🍀🙏
Thanks!!!
Great. Are you still playing while living abroad now?
Hi! I hope you still are reading comments. I like your performance of this piece. I have been searching online for like half an hour, and cannot seem to find a G major sheet music version of this suite anywhere. Despite it being all over RUclips, which is very confusing to me. Everything I can find is in D major, did you transpose this yourself? If not may I ask what the name of your music book is? It's driving me nuts, playing Suite No. 6 in D major is already hard enough, I feel like G maj could be easier to work with if only I can get my hands on it
Wish I could play like this 🧡
Beautiful sound. Nice 🌹
Beautiful music, thank you for it.
Thanks! I love this recording studio. I hope to make more videos in the 2nd week of June.
Beautiful performance!!
Thank you!
woah! this is truly amazing, I'm a violinist and I'm so amazed!
Is beautiful, do you have any transcription?
Enjoyed it.The rendition would make many violinists envious. This model fuga is extremely difficult for the violin and makes it more difficult to play on the viola. A thoroughly enjoyable performance.
Nice :) good sound
Cool!
Gorgeous tone! Thanks so much for sharing your music!
Holy cow! I wrote my comment above after hearing the Bach. Now I've listened to the Hindemith, which I've never heard before, and I'm just blown away. Thank you!!
Hermoso. Bellísimo.
Thank you. I wish that I could play my viola as well as you.
Oh thanks! Means a lot to hear that! 😊
Beautiful playing!
Thanks! :)
Pricelessly beautiful... thank you Neesa
Beautiful playing! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for listening! :)
I am glad that I attended your event on Saturday January 21st., 2023 in King Manor in Jamaica, Queens, New York City, New York, USA.
It was nice to see you there!
You're back!! playing in a gym?? Anyway is good to hear you again
Lol it’s upstairs at a community center.
excellent
This was beautiful! I wish I could have been there!
BRAVO!!!!
This is a wonderful mission and I support it.
Wonderful done,Wonderful playing Wonderful Job ,all the beloved best to you dear Neesa, yours Josha 👌🙏🍀🍀🍀🎼🎶🎻🙋♂️🇪🇺🇩🇪🇫🇷🇨🇭 to the Étas Unis,NYC🇺🇸
Brava!!
This is beautiful
Holy cow!! You’ve made some great performances of some awesome repertoire and now this striking work! I’m a fan!
Thanks! :)
After a frustrating day spent achieving very little, listening to your playing put my brain in a more restful and contemplative state! Thank you very much!
Beautiful!
Bravo! Nice to see you playing again. I've read that no.6 was likely composed for 5 string cello. Which is why it's so awkward to play on a 4 string instrument!
Yea the G major arrangement is most intuitive for the viola in how it resonates, although I feel guilty? fukit
Beautiful playing! ❤️
Thanks!! :)
Thank you for your sharing. I greatly appreciate. What a gift! I never tired and had any kind of stress with your music. Just a amazing sound bath experience goes on and on. Oh if I can listen you on live!!
A long time ago, when people still used coin operated phones, I used to have a reprogrammed device like that with the audio file for a depositing a coin in a pay phone, if that makes sense. That way you could make phone calls for free, called phone phreaking.
I love your hair :D
Thanks! I've learned love it. I used to feel ashamed because it was fuzzy but it works these days because I let it.
❤️❤️❤️❤️✨
Horrible, horrible, horrible!! In all the right places!!!!
Lol! How? I know I missed the high note. I am really busy with clients, I have a full caseload so I squeeze practicing and recording in, limited time right now.
@@neesasuncheuri Ignore them, they're an idiot that doesn't appreciate good music. This is so extremely impressive for not playing after so long. This is a HARD solo, one of my favorite pieces of Bach though. I can't wait to try this piece myself soon. You did such a great job and a lot of justice to this to piece. Keep going :)
Dear "Liam Whitney",you defenetly ought to be more polite to Neesa!!! I studied Viola and Voice at Conservatoire in l'Europe, Germany and Switzerland, but I had to decidé for one major, so I decidé for Voice, was 13 years an Opera-Tenor in Houses in Germany until Corona came, now I do a different Job,but when thst huge crab started,I started playing Alto after 17 years,so 4 years longer than Neesa,it is by me not that "great" than Neesa plays!!! And I'm 41.But nevertheless, please be more polite, even you do not like it. Kind regards from Europe 🇪🇺🇩🇪🇫🇷🇨🇭🙋♂️🎼🎶🎻🍀🍀🍀
@@joshablatzheim9075 Oh Yes! You're right, of course. But you should hear me play violin. I can clear a large room in just a minute!
@@joshablatzheim9075 Anyone who has a copy of "The New Jim Crow" on their bookshelf can play anything she wants!!!
I just read the article about sensory overload via Aeon, and just want to say thank you. My daughter has violin lessons, and quite often, she shuts down, because it's too much stimulus for her. I'll try your tips, see if they help. Meanwhile, enjoying your video. You play beautifully!
Thanks so much for your heartfelt response!
That's lovely. Thanks so much for recording and sharing it. I can only imagine what it would sound like recorded in a larger performance space! I wonder, though, whether in the 17th century this piece would normally have been played in spaces with acoustics more like yours.
Definitely the resonance of a church space would make it sound more majestic.
I never was allowed to play music as a child and just started with the help of my partner at 41. I love it and it helps so much now that I have found ways that work for me. Thanks for sharing and best of luck to you!
I am a firm believer, that we can achieve musical miracles even as adults, even if we didn’t have that elite musical training in our upbringing as children. Also as a violist, I’m trying to focus on quality of sound and communicating with audiences, as opposed to displaying virtuosity. Of course I want to be a virtuoso, I aim for that in playing, But virtuosity isn’t the only thing one can do to uplift audiences.
Omg , qué bonito!
Amazing music. A relatively simple tune on a simple instrument can evoke half-a-dozen emotions in the space of two minutes. Incredible. (When played sensitively of course!) Thank you
Thanks so much! I am really delving into unaccompanied works these days.
Lovely playing! What is this piece, please? I started viola as a beginner a few months ago (aged 52) essentially because I was so drawn to these solo pieces by Bach and Telemann etc. So meditative and spiritual. Your playing conveys deep yearning. Really inspiring. Thank you
Biber's Passacaglia, it's a violin piece from the Baroque era, I'm playing it on viola.
