Cream - Wrapping Paper (Music Video) & The Worst Mime They Ever Did!
Просмотров 6 тыс.7 месяцев назад
Cream miming very badly along to their first single 'Wrapping Paper' in 1966 in France. They frequently go in and out of sync with the backing track, Jack repeatedly gets the words wrong, and Ginger is visibly not actually hitting the drums (and missing fills)

Jack Bruce (2005) on the Cream Reunion: "Dream or Nightmare? Who knows!"
One of the most overrated drummers!👎👎
AIDS.
Number 1 !!!
I got to see him live before he died. He seemed kinda grumpy then to.
Somehow i overlooked this song until recently even though I'm 68 and cream figured hugely in my youth. It has a 1940s British Jazz feel. Love it.
Verbally abused people just out of shot
Ginger Baker POpomaker
I've just got into cream I was born 1988 !I got a black 61 SG and I started listening to cream and clapton in his SG era !
Something Fresh.... Fresh Cream.
Not very good is it
I dont know what Im missing, Baker is overrated. Am i the only one who thinks this?? He's a good drummer sure, but an all time great? I don't see it.
Don't compare him with the drummer of this time, compare him with the drummer of the 60's and 70's! I hope you will unverstanden!

hows the singing!!! holy sheet
👍
One thing, I love the frogs introducing the band
The spaceship is smoking and at 3:38 it takes off.
Wow how great is that !! Jack was a Great Songwriter, Great Bassist, and an Amazing singer. Love this !!
Everything about this is brilliant, including the fantastic arrangements for guitar and drums. What an awesome group they were!
This would sound ten times better if the drum kit was tuned properly.
John McLaughlin called him Peter the Poet. Very creative lyrics.
Ginger reminds me of a less amiable no nonsense older brother of whispering Bob Harris. I think Anyone For Tennis is a charming whimsical song. I like it when artists occasionally do the opposite of what's expected of them, like The Stranglers with Golden Brown
Genius magic
0:55 Pavarotti should have taken operatic singing lessons from this guy.
Jack and Ginger were like brothers who fought each other. Eric is the cousin in the middle trying to keep it civil. Thank you Lord for Cream and the music they left for generations to enjoy.
Ginger looks like "Fast" Eddie Felson in the thumbnail
Out Of The Storm…BRILLIANT MUSIC AND LYRICS.Go…Steve Hunter 🔥
sounds almost punky
Not nearly as impressive as his reputation
Start to listen to him, not just about him.
100% agree
Not bad for a 66 year old semi-reformed smack addict
don't like!
Well don't listen then!!!!
Noone cares what you like
Truly a gem
Alex like Ginger understood the role of drums in a band. Solid as ice when keeping the beat. Fluid as water when doing a roll or playing a solo. Light as steam when knowing when not to over play.
guy was a fucking BAD ASS!!!
Ginger Baker….The GREATEST drummer the world has ever heard…read..HELLRAISER…Ginger Baker’s autobiography An incredible read….thanks for the video…peace from Vancouver Island
I never ever heard this song until i met my husband 14yrs ago & i Do have quite a vast knowledge of music through time,& this song capsulates the time, era & Perfectly mirrors the time it is built on & smoothly gives a seemingly smooth & flawless twist to represent their :present day'.Im sorry i sound pretentious, however take into account BEFORE hanging me that I Am British!!!!
Pressed Rat and Warthog.
"Artisan "snobs may call it swill, but as 15 yr old.bribing upperclassmen to buy my friends case (8.00!!! )it was great i still remember it had mellower finish than Bud's bite.
Why have they cut out Clapton's solo?
Falstaff in the long neck bottles was one of the best American beers ever I don't think they make it anymore
As a huge fan of the band, somehow I never knew about this. I’m so glad. I’m so glad. I’m glad I’m glad I’m glad.
You watch these interviews and quickly realize who the problem in the Ginger Baker-Jack Bruce relationship was.
I sincerely hope the person that commented on Ginger being bested on drums by John Bonham has followed thru with a labotomy. Baker's training wth Graham Bond Organization manufactured a top end jazz, blues drummer! Bonham would be completely dominated by Baker as far as timing, endurance and overall talent. Bonham was for a four year period,a top rock, blues drummer. Gonger was for ten years or so a great rock, blues and jazz drummer!
Hey look.. it's Anthony Bourdain
Great influence for me Excellent sounds
His last Ludwig kit sounded so good. These sound like dog shit.
Thank you for posting! Great solo
Love it! Sounds like the Beatles 'Good Day Sunshine' from the Revolver album from the same year in 1966. Very McCartney-esque and there's nothing wrong with that!
I love Ginger Baker, I don’t care how mean he was.
Heartbreaking to see Jack suffering with liver probs. He was probably but I guess the face bloat was alcohol , like Morrison.
The posture is most incredible. How often do you see drummers sit that straight and let their hands, wrists, and arms do the work?
I don't really see what was in the description.. But I would love to see if ginger or someone else talked about this mime
Best trio to come from that era. The Beatles and Hendrix even looked up to Cream
