there's no comparison, raw power aprilia srv/gilera gp it's unbeatable, corners nothing beats the tmax, but the aprilia/gilera with a few suspensions modifications it's also very good, and you can reduce de weight by removing the central stand and some other few things like the exhaust and so
@jhonny folhas how much weight do you think you could take off the srv850 or gilera gp800? I’m thinking of getting one and would love to know if you could get them to the 200 kg mark?
@@muckle8 it's heavy, no discussion about that. Central stand, windshield motors, exhaust also heavy and cat also, but nothing more. Maybe 20/25kg, but that's about it. I had 3, currently own a 2010 gp, the first one i kept stock, the second one had everything possible including a 1000cc kit. This one has a few things like full exaust, clutch and drpulley sliders and a tune. If you get one you would be disappointed, just get a bitubo rear suspension and the spring kit for the front one, it changes the bike completely. If you have money, go with rear ohlins and there's a front kit way better it's called andreani hydraulic adjustable cartridge, or adapt a upside down full suspension from a r6/r1 or gsxr or something like that.

you can pretty much turbo anything. but yeah, tmax has the looks, it's lighter and there's tonnes of aftermarket support. but still prefer the gilera gp800/aprilia srv 850

Riccardo il problema e' che Yamaha non è in grado di fare un motore così prestante come quello della Piaggio..sono passati 10 anni e il Gilera GP 800 e Aprilia SRV 850 sono gli scooter più veloci al mondo.. Quando gli italiani si impegnano non c'è né per nessuno..

I new right then and there that the Aprilia was going to win that race but ya the Tmax will definitely out handle the Aprilia any day of the week because Aprilia's have a ton of power behind them but Yamaha's have handing behind them because I would absolutely rather have handling then straight out speed because it's way more fun going faster around a corner then straight off the line because this what exactly you youngsters will definitely learn as you get much older and wiser trust this old man right now whose in his 30s
