I love this technique. Try heating up the area prior to laying down the strips. It will lightly adhere it and you don’t have to get the iron near your fingers.

I see that this was a year ago so maybe it’s too late to ask. But.. My needles got sticky with glue when I tried fusing hems. Then they wouldn’t sew. Perhaps it was the brand I used? Or maybe I did something wrong?

This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I knew this was the way to do it but would never have gotten there nearly as fast and by the time I was done, I would have had a Frankenstein pattern definitely NOT with a 90 degree angle at the shoulder. Many thanks.
