Should have used Houdini or blender. Especially for personal work with a single home pc to be more realistic.
Houdini communicates well with Maya.. file exchanges are seamless and robust... But Blender stands out when it comes in render speed, shortcut modelling technique and vast library of addons...

For such scenes, Blender truly stands out.
but comparing to maya's Arnold, blender's reflective materials while intracting with light feels wax... After AgX release it got slightly fixed... but its still there
