I assume this platform would take a 7 or 8 car train? I am working on a project.
It can have a six carriage DMU CAF 4000 train and three car carriage DMU CAF 3000 train on platform one on Platform two up to six carriage DMU CAF 4000 train I have seen this one tine only . Only time you will see it like this is at night when the railway is not in service. I have a video from 25 July 2021 call The Northern Ireland railways waterside railway station in Derry/Londonderry it is a walk around the outside on the station Building you can see now long the platform is from it. it is in my playlist under Translink Northern Ireland Railway Trian & Stations Videos hope it will help you.
I would love to operate loco-hauled trains on this route. Something similar to the OBB Railjet but diesel traction.
unfortunately the track cannot handle heavy train`s like that now. only DMU CAF 3000 and CAF 4000 class of train`s now.

Yes it's is they beening build on the old Industrial estate by A5 road and the woodside road in newbuildings

Great footage! Was a really enjoyable week of racing, that weather was something. Fair play for braving it. I managed to seek shelter in the pub for most of the rain! Awesome to see everyone get back home in one piece! Sad about the Dunlop tyre situation. Hope they can get that fixed ready for the TT.
