Beautiful finds! 😎🤩
Thank You- Just a proof that Russia isn't the only place where it is possible to find positions with interesting relics related to the WW2. :)

А глина то у ребят правильная!
From the condition of this helmet and an examination it appears this helmet was worn by a German soldier during ww2 and appears it is not a reproduction but an actual stalhelm

Nice find. Did you get it open? I have some of those as well. I believe they were for FLAK 88 fuses. I wonder if they were used with mortars as well.
Hi, Thanks. Yeah I did open it- empty. I had seen some for sale with the labels on the outside- that indicated 120mm mortar round fuses, but then again- if 88mm fuse fits, why not?
@@karamelles98 I'm sure the Germans made use of interchangeable containers, like you said, why not?
@@FreeAmericaChannel I agree. I had found metal containers on several occasions for KwK-40 75mm shells that were designed and used for main gun in Panzer IV tanks, and STUG assault guns. Those containers were closed and contained 75mm HE shells for Le.IG 18 light infantry howitzer- which means that soldiers in artillery units either "borrowed" or re-used shell containers left by tank or assault gun crews.
Are you from Poland🇵🇱?
Hello, no -but close enough.
Вот это сохран 😮
Спасибо- глине :). У меня есть еще несколько видео с найденными шлемами, возможно, я выложу их, когда захочу.
Really good vedio can you do a vedio when you shooting with wepons
Thank You, had to edit it a little bit. About firearms videos- I am not sure- there are a lot of videos especially from the U.S. content creators- that have easier access to firearms- then we have here, and they probably know more than I could tell. If there will be something unique I will make a video.
is that g3a3 is it good to shoot?
This one was AK-4- ( licensed HK G3 variant manufactured in Sweden) fitted with optic. But we also had a few original HK G-3 battle rifles with optics and handguards that had integrated bipods. I would say that it is not very comfortable firearm to handle and shoot. It is accurate and has decent diopter sights though.
Which country sre you from?
One of the countries on the other side of the Baltic sea, Latvia.
Viss ir saprotams , labs video . Ja kads ko nevar saprast tas nav tava vaina. Viss ir normali izskaidrots. Kad bus nakamais video par bunkuriem ?))

Varför har du satt en snopphatt i slutet av pipan?💀💀💀
Hi, That is part of the original conversion kit, so the submachine gun could fire blank rounds for training.
What country are you from? You sound moldovian? I thought guns were not allowed?
One of the states in Baltic region. Weapons like this G3 are not allowed for civilians- but they are still used by our military.
Smart setup! Thanks for sharing
You are welcome, i would say it depends for what kind of role the gear is used for. I have the issued gear, but to be honest i have tried and i still dont like load bearing vests- so this works for me, if i need to use body armor/ plate carrier i can remove the original strap from smersh- because of the metal hooks and swap it with other shoulder strap that are less bulky remove IFAK, compass pouch and basicaly wear a plate carrier over it. Good luck!
Nice set up man 👍👍
Can you walk with all that weight? Having the kit is one thing, being able to walk with it is something else. Maybe after 10 kilometers you will be too far gone to be any good. :P I tried, i know what its like. You have to train. Maybe get a small backpack that fits well and walk with it filled with sand like 10kg (in 2 plastic garbage bags) to start with. Its pretty much weight. I like your kit. Greetings, Jeff
I had done that- we do have ruck marches on few occasions, also on competitions- where you need to have certain amount of weight and equipment in your rucksack + assault rifle, webbing gear and helmet on and you need to also accomplish some other tasks between the march. Can't say that it was easy and won- but never quit. To be honest this isn't even the whole gear- i recently had to take issue rucksack which is even larger- 100liter one, with assault pack on it- just because there was list with mandatory equipment you must have for that course- it was even worse. I try to go as light as possible - but it is really difficult- because as an FO you also have to carry communications equipment- which consists of 2 radios (including 1 Manpack) extra batteries, NVG's, binoculars and other stuff.
@@karamelles98 O, that is a lot. Well, ive read that if you take more than 25kg, people start to wear down quick. A lot of veterans on pain medication because they were hauling too much equipment. I cant proof ot but; these Ukrainian soldiers all look like they get some anabolic steroids in their food. They are so bulky. Steroids are bad for you in the long run, but they will keep you from breaking your back. Im not sure what is worse. I rather not take more then 25kg with me. Any way, good luck. Thanks for the reply. Greetings, Jeff
@@jeffjefferson2676 Yeah, it actually is pretty difficult in my experience- as i am pretty lean and rather average height arround 5.8ft i cant really carry that much in the first place. Can't say much much about steroids- i have no experience. But i do have back issues- work related, so i will probably serve the remaining time in the weekend "warriors" and do something else. Best regards.
Awesome find! The condition of that liner is actually insanely good.. 👍👍
For a steel liner definately. Thanks .
Very nice helmets😊😊
What camo is that? And what balaclava are you using?
Russian version of multicam. Balaclava was bought from local web-shop,produced by the company: Miltec. It is considered to be a very cheap brand.
Ive been looking at pack I can use with my molle smersh as well. Thinking about getting tekhinkom 25l patrol pack. But want to find other seller than greyshop.
Hi, I just use the patrol pack we were issued from SRC Brasa. Ebay seems to have a lot of overpriced stuff typically. I think that allthough the Greyshop has great website , easy to use- they have quite high prices- so i just asked someone i know to buy the gear in Russia itself since he was travelling there regulary, even when he asked for his "cut" i could get items 50-70% cheaper. Now since the february 24 situation has changed and that is not an option anymore.
I would ditch the metal meat hooks on your harness; that was one of the first modifications Cold War usgis would do to their Alice gear. I would also try flipping your sleeping pad 90° and lash it in the middle; so the bottom of your ruck sits lower and more flush on the lumbar pouches. Just advice from fellow Smersh user, cool camo choice!
Thanks for the advice- i had a Smersh webbing gear without metal hooks- the reason i added them on this one- is that i can quickly remove or add the buttpack- in case i need to carry more stuff- if there is not enough space in the patrol backpack. I will try them out for a while and see if they are a problem. I could try out to change the sleeping mat configuration- but i will need to make some modifications to the Ataka 2 backpack- so i could attach it. Have a great day!
@@karamelles98 probably too hard to source now but I ran one of the newer molle style butt packs, on the older loop system, so I could take it on and off easier. Never really changed it out much so I went back to the old one. You can use car tie down straps for the mat with out having to mod it, if you just want to experiment.
@@swalker157 Yeah, with the war things have changed, i will try out the idea with the sleeping mat attachment though.
Awesome!
Thanks, it seems that most of military firearms used by Soviet army are designed in a way that it is very easy to field strip them, which is one of the reasons i like them.
