You don’t really need throttle unless they dive away. It’s harder if you don’t know the timing of it for sure. P38 maneuvers best under 425

He cut the throttle so he would have more time on target.

@@That1Gaming Bad wording, you only needed to cut throttle because the stall and dive were less than optimal. I would've committed to the neg G dive instead of leveling out and rolling. Though I play on PC which might make a difference.

Great advice. Definitely not worth doing when dogfighting and it definitely hinders you when flying jets. I tend to use it situationally (definitely more than I should) for props where tempo is a little slower

I could make a whole video (probably will) about how to get the advantage over better planes using your rudder. That was one of the first settings I changed ngl. One other situation that quickly comes to mind is when youre in a vertical about to hit your stall speed. Hit that left rudder and see what happens.
