    Please don't stop making videos!!! COME BAAACK <3 I am sharing your channel to my fellow friends learning Latin in their classical education/Liberal Arts studies and will be, myself, learning it along with Greek next year, so PLEASE, i need all the videos in your wonderful formatting i can get!!! As do others! I thankfully re-found your channel after losing it way back with my first time of re-learning grammar alone but now am revisiting in self-studies structured through home schooling curriculums. Grammar is so much easier through your lessons! <3 I love them so much! <3 thank youuu!!!

    Okay, I wanted to understand in learning Russian so far this year as to why I saw that word instead of neutral it said neuter and I was intrigued to figure out why. I'm learning English grammar now in a classical education formatting which goes about teaching it in the same structure as Latin so I'm excited to lay some groundwork for the Latin comprehension this year while doing other studies in the meantime before I do Latin next year. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing videos with us!

      I'm not hating on you on any way but people spend a lot of time on animations and a simple video. I mean she/he has to do voice overs, animations, and editing. Think before commenting or saying something to someone, you never know it might hurt them deep inside. So please try respecting she/he and if you don't like her you can just leave no need to put a hate comment in.

    Anyone know why the first principle part doesn't have the stem in it? 'Vocare' would say that the stem was 'Voca', but the first person singular doesn't follow this but changes to Voco. I'm trying to teach myself Latin, and not exactly sure if I missed something here...

    • @magistra5387
      @magistra5387 4 года назад

      Great question! The first principle part’s job is to say “what does this word mean” rather than give a stem. Form wise, the first principle part is the first person singular present form. The first person singular present (aka, voco) doesn’t follow the regular rules for the present tense, but it is always familiar since it is the first principle part. Almost all other verb forms build off a stem, but this form in particular is irregular.

      This is a bit disrespectful since people spend a lot of time on animations, she said enough for other people to learn but I will respect your comment bc not a lot of people can learn easily/understand this well :)

      Apparently you cant learn anything because you spelled learn wrong, and you forgot your apostrophy in didn't.

    • @txzrs3406

      You really need to learn how to spell before you learn what a being verb is.

    Anna, (you) clean your room. Isn't Anna in second person? Is that not so in Latin?

    • @magistra5387
      @magistra5387 8 лет назад

      You're right! The verb in that sentence is going to be second person, because the person you are speaking to, Anna, is the person you want to do the action. It still follows the "person you're speaking to" rule, but since it is a command sentence, the sentence looks different. Commands are a little funny, because "Anna" isn't acting as the subject there but as a vocative (direct address). It looks like it has a proper name subject, but "Anna" there is just clarifying who you are addressing. The vocative doesn't come up as often in English as it does in Latin. Maybe we'll do a video on that this week. :)
