You have completely forgotten the Gauls and even turned Milano into a roman name, while it's celtic: very inaccurate! Where are the Veneti? The Ligurians? There are of course many good parts and I understand it's difficult to condensate everything in 25 minutes, but some mistakes could have been avoided.

I love Germany, its immense cultural heritage, art, architecture, and divine music. I wish I could relocate their but I heard that the locals don’t welcome nor accept the newcomers with thick accent

I don’t know to many historical scholars worth their salt that would say Jesus didn’t exist. But I do think it’s awesome everyone talks about Jesus historically and biblically. You don’t see too many videos, or documentaries say on historical Muhammad, or Buddha. I also find it interesting that different religions have Jesus in them too…like Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Baha’i, Hare Krishna, and eastern spiritual religions. But only in the Bible is He the only way and truth. And no Constantine did not come up with the biblical canon at the Council of Nicea. You have the Muratorian fragment (170 AD) which identifies many of the new testament book.

Anybody interested in history of Istanbul can see the pre-historic artifacts dating back to BC 7.000 -6.000 discovered during the construction of underground & undersea metros of Istanbul around late 2010s which are displayed in the national archeology museum as well as partly within the metro as well. They show how the human race started moving from Anatolia towards north to what is now called Europe after the latest ice age.

There's a lot of AI in the production, plenty of overly romanticized images of mighty warriors, AI images based on current tendencies of what constitutes feminine (and masculine) beauty images of hard-working agriculturalists. Who is the narrator? He seems like an AI of Anthony Hopkins voice. Kudos on the real science and etymological information, but there are other sources that go right to the science and have less over-dramatization.

Assmimg certain things: You have 5 races on this planet and at least 4 came from other planets; the cacausions and the orientals and the slavs and the seminites and the negros; if the of cacausions originated on this planet then they have the right to rule over the oil of the planet and the gold mines of south africa. Of course you have other possibilities and must also consider what god gave to others. Assuming certain things:if you have parents of two different races one "gene" will dominate and you either end up 100 percent your mother's race or 100 percent your father's race

no, there was paralel people in the east starting those civilizations, indeed they started to stay in one place for longer time, no more nomadic hunting, they started to make huge settlements, wars and destroying the earth, more and more wiping out plants and animals.....till now. All is relative, , the chinese, also people around Hindus, and maybe even around indonesia there was paralel civilisations like that, and still we dont know if the first of those kind cames also to Anatolia...but more sure is, onnew thing is coming, and those people found another new thing and it is interchanging till a point....and seems that those farmers who came where mostly indo-european language, but also some like closer to semitic languages like etruscan and raetian and maybe others....but languages are not a genetic thing but is passed over.....but the first civilisations around anatolia/mesopotamia we know today was not indo-european speakers....so we have to investigate much more to say something like this ;)

Good documentary but ... incomplete! During the discoveries, portuguese men immigrated, but african slaves came in. And their genes were also introduced into the population. As trade routes expanded, more genes from asian and native american populations were added. 50 years ago, the independence of the colonies turned to be a migration wave to Portugal. So I think there is stil a lot to be told. Portugal is a small country but a huge gene cocktail!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment. I’m delighted you enjoyed it. Regarding the monks who settled in Ireland, during the 4th and 5th centuries, regions like Roman Britain and Gaul (modern France) were deeply influenced by Roman Christian traditions. Roman Britain had an established Christian presence, with bishops attending councils like Arles in 314 AD. Missionaries such as Saint Patrick, born in Roman Britain, brought Christian teachings and Roman organizational practices to Ireland. Gaul, with its renowned monasteries like Lérins and influential figures such as Saint Martin of Tours, became a hub of monasticism. Through trade and cultural exchange, Irish monks adopted Christian texts, Latin literacy, and Roman traditions, blending them with Irish culture. This led to the rise of distinctive Irish monasticism, which preserved classical knowledge and spread Christianity across Europe

Very interested about Italian DNA in human timelines in Italy including Sardina and Sicily. A lot of my paternal ancestors and my maternal ancestors came from Campina Province where Naples, Italy (Napoli, Italia) is in my D'Auria-Doria Family Tree in longer blueblood lines in my ancestral lineage. Otherwise I am the Second-Generation Southern Italian-American citizen in my D'Auria Family on American soil. Recently the DNA testing results have shown that I have: H1 in maternal DNA and H7 in maternal DNA, and RIB in paternal DNA in a fact. My close paternal uncle who was my family physician with his Ph.D. and M.D. had had told me that our ancestors lived in Rome, Italy (Roma, Italia) for a very, very, long times then both of Central and Southern Italy including Sicily were influenced by ancient Greek civilization--Manga Gerica (Greater Greece) before the Roman Empire began to rule over Europe, North Africa, and Middle East. Well, I strongly have my ties to Italy including Sardina and Sicily as part of Italian Culture, Italian-American Culture, Italian Heritage, and Italian-American Heritage in nature. Now I am glad to hear that bright light finally comes here to me.

Maybe he had saved a kid's life from being burnt alive for some idol and false diety and thats the reason why he had to run away from the village then chased and killed.
