OWB Wood Consumption - E Classic 2400
Real wood usage for my Central Boiler E-classic 2400 heating 5000 sq ft. Burning mostly Ash and Maple, with some oak, hedge and pine scattered in. It is my 2nd year running this 2011 model boiler.
House is a 1925 with no insulation in downstairs walls, but does have some in the upstairs, and has a new addition on the back that is well insulated. So its a mix of poorly insulated and well insulated. Shop is all foam board insulation but does have some seams in ceiling that need sealing.
Will be mid season but plan to add my garage onto the system also.

Went out to the inlaws to clean up a big red oak blow down. Hauled excavator out with the t444e 7.3. Bucked up the logs with the big sthil saws and loaded out some large logs with the Bobcat 341. The old 7.3 international didn't like the heavy haul and on the way home the turbo started showing issues and blowing blue smoke. More to come on this.

24V Kobalt Pole Saw - How Many Cuts??
Really appreciate this video, thank you!
Glad i could be a help!
4:10 we can all appreciate a good amount of slit
Yeah, well I get the fire department called on me if I just try to burn a pile of leaves in my town, so...
Your lucky you didn’t set fire to the building when using the leaf blower…
That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen
Dangerous to set fire to stumps because the roots can ignite and smoulder and burn under the ground.. nnear a building, roots can charcoal a fire
did you not drill out the end of the crack lime?
No i didn't drill it. The way the rim takes loading it was going to crack from that inside most edge where the braze ended. Cracking from center out to edge was not very likely.
038 Sounds Like a boss it did pretty well straight but it needs a Bit Performance. The 661 needs bark box and is the King of woods
That 038 does sound the best and it does a good job for its age and bar size. Haven't tried any muffler modding, but if I do I think the 361 will get it first. It could use more power. The 661 is definitely a beast.
@ yeah try to port the 038 and give the 661 a bark box muffler mod it will wake up more 🔥
Big Braining. I like it
And the flame follows a root right into your crawl space or celler!
Don't have to worry about that. I live in flat land, where i hit water at 20" just digging our foundation for the new edition. Couldn't make those roots burn if you had too!!
Hello everyone
Hello. Welcome to the channel.
Sharpin that mf lol dam jaha 😊😮😅😢😂😂
Cook something
"You never know 'til you burn 'em". Truer words have never been spoken.
Alot less time just taking the chain saw to the stump and carve on it until done, ya recken ?
It was worth the enjoyable evenings sitting around the fire, and i never could have gotten it down a foot underground with just a chainsaw.
Check out Project Farms strength test on the Hobart rods.
I did see that video before i decided between these Hobart rods and the Alumiweld. This video was specific to a groove weld joint like i did when i used this to repair an aluminum rim. I could have had it welded but wanted to give these a try. Worked well for a year, but finally recracked. ruclips.net/video/nyyP4XaAt8Q/видео.html

How do you guys turn your backup pump on? on our 96 Versalift there are no function switches so I assume somehow it has to get cut on and run in small increments just like the main pump was on. Its not working currently but plan on getting it working. Hope it only needs a solenoid switch. Thanks for sharing!
For ours to work the PTO has to be engaged, and the truck keyed on but not running. Then using the lower controls, we have a button to push to activate the controls. When truck is running the controls activate normally, but when truck is not running(key on PTO engaged) and you push the button the auxillary electric pump will run. On the upper controls there should also be an "Emergency Plunger" to activate controls. If truck is keyed on and PTO was engaged and truck stops running it should activate the electric pump. Atleast that how our Terex-HiRanger is supposed to work.
@@IndependenceIron Ok thanks!
@@IndependenceIron Hey do you have to bleed any air after replacing a hydraulic line?
@@RC-Heli835 I do not bleed after replacing a hydraulic line. Not saying that you can't or shouldn't but it is difficult especially ones in the boom. Small amounts of air will get entrained in the fluid as it cycles and will eventually make its way back to tank and settle out. Now if i were to replace a cylinder with a large air volume i would probably try to prefill if possible especially on load locked cylinders where you could fill and then effectively cap the cylinder with the load lock valves.
@IndependenceIron OK thanks ! I just put a new hydraulic pump on our 96 gmc Topkick with a versalift 36pi. It just seems a bit noisy when the bucket control hydralics is turned on. It's quite with the pistol grip applied though to move the bucket. I wish there were more bucket truck maintenance videos out.

Anyone else notice the blue shed door blowing open?
Haha i didn't even notice that. Its my daughters playhouse that we built with wood we sawed on our bandmill. Kids never shut doors lol!!
Fill a small spray bottle with diesel fuel. Have someone turn over the engine while you spray fuel into the air intake. It will start even if you did not bleed the injector lines. Much easier and faster.
Man I see why back in the day , people used wood to heat their homes, because that one stump burned for almost 8 hours
2:14 This is a good opportunity to warn people about the risks of lighting gasoline. I have an uncle who spent six weeks in the hospital burn unit because he lit a hornet nest with a small amount of gas from his lawnmower. The vapors exploded and things didn't go well for him after that. My fuel of choice for this kind of project is diesel. It works well, is cheap, and doesn't have explosive tendencies at normal temperatures.
That's so cool
Dang the cops got called quick.. Is there a burn ban.? 😅
Don't.
You could do ASMR with that fire crackling like that❤
Stihl MS361 vs. McCulloch Super Pro 125.
same problem thx
Chunk of magnesium
What bearings and seals did you use?
I listed them by size in the description so viewers could choose their own brand. I used an off brand seal with no part number from amazon. Matched the size. Bearings were SKF NJ207ECP. There are other options for the last 3 letters that change how the rollers are captive. ECP are only captive on one side of the inner race.
The hall down there should be facing the wend direction so it remains passing through and you will need to keep a peace of wood inside it from time to time to keep up flame 🔥
Lookin good for some steaks and dawgs.
That is in the back of the home. The septic is normally in the back of the home. A tree stump that size would have really long roots and could be boring a hole in the septic tank. Burning a stump like that would cause you to burn the roots and they can burn for months Depending on the tree and root system. You could get a bang out of burning stumps. I have been burning stumps all my life. If you would have blown out the ashes now and then the stump would have burned a lot better. I have burned stumps and it rained for 5 days and still never put that stump out.

Another channel blocked. I hate how people add music where it does not belong. Fast forward shit or play music while they're trying to talk or demonstrate something, I instantly shut the video off and hit the do not recommend channel button. You sons of bitches have destroyed RUclips and I will not be a part of it.
Got embers going everywhere. Should've soaked the garage roof, side, and ground area before ignition. An ounce of prevention.. Also, reuse that copious amount of heat whenever possible.
Great work - but you can power wash the remnant at the end of your video and that will expose the part of the ball that’s above the ground. I did this a couple times and then after it’s exposed, you can let it dry with stumpout or just time. Then it will either burn or break.
Be careful. This can catch underground root systems on fire, which can smoulder underground for days and travel to other trees
If you had done another 8-10 slits, you could have just pulled it out and set it by the street
Is it me, or is the time spent cutting could just have even used to flush-cut the stump?
i love slits😊
giant tripod with winch - so much easier
only reccomendation is mabye spraying some water around so no sparks can catch besides that fk yeah brother
When that close to the building to you should soak the ground on the side facing the building cause fire can travel through the roots
Could you have put a bag of charcoal in the center to help it out?
This is a great low impact way to get rid of stumps. Plus you can tell ghost stories around them late at night. Boooooooo!
You could of just indicated the backing plate on the mill table and set your zero in x and y and then use your digital readout to put in the holes. No need for the rotary table.
I am sure you can tell after watching this video i do not use this equipment often enough to be good at it. Your suggestion would have worked well, but initially i had thought the rotary would be easier. And after the effort to Hoss that thing up there it was staying lol. In hind sight your method probably would have been best. But i learned some valuable lessons, and would definitely do it different next time.
Mine even burned the root system under the ground I noticed smoke rising up out of the ground a good ways from the stump location
A large metal drum with side draft holes around it burns stumps into the ground or just use blocks rocks or bricks and some mud around it like a furnace kinda and leave a open section to draft air through
