I bought this knife years ago & loved it but it was just too small for my hands I cut myself a few times because of that so I gave it to my GF of that time. I still recommend it though for anyone who has smaller hands. So far my favorite compact knife is the Paramilitary3 digi camo.

I'm using a 3 DAP with BVS as one of my EDC packs and it's extremely comfortable. For me the BVS is what makes it very comfortable to use during warm days. I took it off once to feel the difference but I immediately put it back on. For really heavy load carrying I use another pack with a NICE Frame which also has the BVS. And for a normal extended hike I use a Terraframe 3-zip backpack which is also very comfortable even though it doesn't have the BVS.
Never tried on the BVS version but would like to. I mostly rely on my 1DAP, a tad on the small side but well designed. Thank you for watching.
This exact model with the green g10 was my first spyderco knife, bought mine in 2012 2-3years later i sold it cause i thought it was too small

I have a blackjack 100, looking into this for a daypack, assault pack as I feel the PALS on the normal military BVS 3 Day is a bit excessive, also love the green color-way. But I can confirm you can fit a lot of stuff in those side pockets. I’ve fit whole long sleeve shirts in there.

@@KITT-K2000 You can use it but let's just say it is unreliable. The smoke fluid unit has two wicks in there. If it's completely dry inside the generator but it is turned on (you'll hear a quiet hum when it is in operation). Also, your track tension may need to be changed (My TIGER I had to be tightened up a bit). Good luck and be careful.

Depends on if Sal finds it appropriate for the Para 3. Personally, I prefer a belly to my knives. :)
I like stonewashed finish more over than satin Para3 blade geometry is fit the needs edc. Very good sound quality and detail.
I love stonewash too. It makes me want to buy another para 3. 🤣
Medford does a stonewash where they polish it, then tumble it. My favorite finish yet.

@edwardgreller I bought this pack a while ago. Superb pack. Maybe a bit too green sometimes.
Terrrific toss in pocket and forget it's there knife we'll probably never use...but it's there...just in-case knife. :) For light tasks. Can get it with a serrated edge. Or for I think $10 more the Delica 4....F $30 more--Manix 2 LW or Para 3 LW...heh...all within that price range... Might get a Dragonfly 2 the serrated edge as my EDC. Don't't know....the full-size Manix 2 is only about $45 USD or $60 CAD more....but for EDC "size matters (smaller/thinner the better)". :) Maybe I'll get a Dragonfly 2 and a full-size Para 3. :)

BTW, the controller is not the best quality. The 'levers" on the controller fall off regularly. Just some adhesive to keep them in place

Does a 15 inch PowerBook fit in?
The specs say up to a 15" but I would take that with a grain of salt. Add in the laptop cover and it might a tight squeeze.

I just reviewed this one the other day. It looks like a toy in my large hands... but its the smallest tactical knife that you can actually use... You look at it and it's like, "There is no way this is gonna work"... but it does. You can open it and close it one handed, and when you choke up on it and use the finger choil, you can get a full grip on it...

Nice knife; I have the same one in VG-10 and Zome, I like it so much that I got another one in orange for fall in the same steel. Some may not like VG-10 but I do; it’s a mid grade steel that’s pretty well balanced compared to some others. Nice knife again!
I just sold my orange one yesterday :( . Agreed about VG-10, many ppl dismiss it. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. Also it is good for people who are learning to sharpen. Thanks for watching!

I never owned a spyderco but I heard they were good quality. However im looking at the close ups of your knife and the spine is protruding from the handle when locked open. It is higher than the jimping in the handle. Is this how all Spiderco's are?
