I would just save as much as possible, so you can make sure you have enough to do all that you’re wanting to do!

I did the spring semester in 2022.

You can apply for a single, but note that there are a very limited amount of single units.

I would say that my grocery budget weekly was around $20-30. Groceries and eating out in Greece are way cheaper than in the states!

I had teen mobile and most countries I went to texting was unlimited! I mainly just used WhatsApp off of wifi to communicate to avoid charges! There also a place called vodophone where everyone went that lets you get a SIM card for a decently cheap, your SIM CARD HAS TO BE UNLOCKED THOUGH. Or it won’t work!!!!

They have private rooms, I’m not too sure what the difference in the cost is though!! I believe they do have private apartments as well, not entirely sure because it wasn’t a popular choice amongst the abroad students.

Depends on what your degree is. If you have a degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mechanic Engineering, Tourism, Medicine then yeah you have some job opportunities here and you can live a nice life. In economics if you're extremely lucky as well, because this country is filled with people that have degrees in Economics or Business Management. However, life in the islands is definitely nicer, safer, healthier and much better architecture but it's harder to find a job, unless you work with tourism of course or go to the cities in the islands like Chania. If you don't have any degree, then your best bet is working with tourism again. If you speak many languages especially, you have high chances of landing a job.

Honestly their are pros and cons to all of them! R1 & R2 are like a little older interior wise & further from school but have a roof top and study room. R3 & R4 are closer to school and newer but don’t have the rooftop or study room

Not a bad thing just very different to how university’s operate here in the states!! Hope Zurich was a good experience

I am a com major! Sadly I was not degree seeking with ACG, just did some basics

Loved the time that I spent there and they have such a great abroad program and care about their abroad students. However, I love my university here in the states so probably not. I would love to visit again though and plan to make it back over there one day! Especially to reunite with my greek friends!

My Greek friends clowned me all the time 😂

As far as what to pack, make sure you’re looking at the weather!!!! I know when I went I assumed it’d be warm but it was winter for them. Also I know it seems hard but try to pack as LITTLE as possible, because I promise you will come back with 2x much and luggage is very expensive. Pack only basics that you can pair with multiple things, I’d suggest packing cubes to be able to condense things. For toiletries pack only what you can’t live without like your favorite face wash etc. and buy the rest when you get there.

One thing I wish I had bought was a theft proof back pack or purse, and microfiber drying towel!!! The towels are perfect for beach days before class, dry fast and can be rolled up really small so their not taking up that much space!!

Hey! I’m greek American and loved it. So much to do. Learn the transportation system and explore. Agia pareskevi is nice too. When I went back to school there as a full time student I moved to the city center instead. Dm on ig if you have any questions.

I got no information about who my roommates were prior! I met the roommate I shared a room with the night I arrived! Not sure if it’s because of the program I went through or what the case was!

Poros was my favorite island I visited, because of how great the people were!!
