@Ethmar and @xaMi can be more than 4 seconds, but at least 3 for sure with average gameplay. You should also grab the shield later in the stage only after grabbing the big ring (if it's there on PC) with the mag shield.

Tagging @Ethmar and @xaMi because they're the currently active runners. 200 extra comes from getting 2 "GOOD" combos instead of a single "NICE", that's because one of the enemies in the previous strat wasn't destroyed, so that's 200 points not collected that now with 2 combos can be collected, and the other 60 comes from the extra "GOOD", discounting the 2 extra seconds of time bonus lost. For anyone but mainly for @Ethmar and @xaMi. You can even grab all the 3 extra chaos drives too, so that's another 30 on top, and you only lose 20 from the extra second of setup, so this is a net positive for sure.

You don't actually need to do it like this, you only need the neutral stick frame before the B press, so you can come down and pause buffer to neutral on the frame you dismount, thanks to @onvar5077 for figuring that out. It's super simple to do, just get to the same spot as I did with the same camera angle and press L, then to get the camera to move up just move to the next spot and press R, then to keep the camera zoomed out just hold both triggers and have fun! I have no clue if similar things can be done in other stages, but I bet there are more setups, but I have zero idea how to figure them out lol

I found that you can obtain a combo on all the enemies, so I'm not sure if underwater gliding is possible while continuing the combo
Yeah that's possible, but I didn't check if it would be worth the extra time. You should be able to start an underwater glide if there's a current pulling you, that's the only way I can think of, bumping your head on a ceiling doesn't work from a jump, and every other way requires touching the ground so the combo would stop.
I'll be honest, I don't even know how to glide underwater. I think I'll have to learn tho, the potential on this level is looking too juicy now!
It's easy, you just need to be holding A while in freefall, for that you just walk off a ledge. The pause is to hold A without pressing it, so it doesn't make me jump, and pausing mid fall to press A allows me to control the glide's starting height.
My heart skipped a beat and thought you found an extra 100 on MH, this is still awesome tho.

@NoahGrill for some reason on GC when the turnaround action ends you get turned sideways and that kills your speed instantly

(0:37) - Never knew why the drownless (or airborne) double death technique actually worked, deducting lives twice.
It's because the death sequence only starts after some time, so if you die to a killplane, then die by damage or drowning, the game will trigger one of the death sequences first, but the other will still be triggered later, and for some reason the game doesn't keep track if there's already a death sequence happening, so the second one just happens in the next life instead

Yeah I’m gonna be honest, I have no clue how I didn’t think of this.
Tbh the description isn't very fair now that I thought about it a bit more, because it's not that obvious since if you try this on the other trick rails in the stage it won't work. I just considered it would work on these because their ends are very far apart, so unlike the other ones, getting through the trick area of one doesn't automatically make you go through the trick area of the other.

We finally figured out how this warp works after 11 years lmao The other TAS linked in the description was the first to use it, but I found a way to trigger a double death and managed to improve the time even further. If I had to guess I think this will be the TAS WR forever, no joke lmao, I hope I'm wrong tho

I did a similar thing, restart while close to the propellers and you'll be able to glide before touching the ground as you did. It can be seen on one of my security hall videos.
Yeah that's known and already used in lots of places, it's the same thing that makes rising start work, I was showing something else, gliding here was just so it was clear that the variable wasn't updating for a long time
