F14a is so brain dead easy... On air spawn maps i just run full fleet defence loadout with 6 aim54s, zoom up to 6km. Get up to mach 1.3+. Yeet all the fox 3s and then go land and rearm with my load out of either 4 aim7f and 2 aim54 or just all aim7fs. Non air spawn maps i tend to unly run 2 or 4 aim54 because trying to DL them in can be a little more risky. Either way though i almost never actually get close enough to the enemy to see them. Pure unadulterated bvr is what she was made for. These tactics have gotten me a 4:1 KD with at least 400 kills so its proven to be good enough.

I recommend using 2 gunpods (less weight -> better turn rate) and 6 rocketpods (enough for 1 base (100 rockets) and you get more, than after bombing) next time

Too bad they not only massacred the FM of the Mig23, but also it s radar. Went from an enjoyable/relaxing experience to extremely frustrating one. Right now I have more success in a Mirage f1-200 than a Mig23
