I am an animator and author that enjoys bringing art to life. I have published five books presently and plan to continue with that journey. This channel at the moment is geared towards ToonSquid and animation and illustration in general. I try to be flexible and create content that is asked for or needed. I like to help out those just starting out, so my posts are usually geared in that direction. If anyone is looking for more complex tutorials then feel free to drop me a message. I don't get it. You are filling an unclosed shape. The initial shape is not closed at the sides and later its not closed at the bottom. This conflicts with the user manual re closed shapes and I am unable to replicate this "feature".

If you click edit on a brush there is an option to reset brush. May have to do one by one to do this. I have not found a way to reset all at once. Hope this helps! Have a great day.

@@kemolook I have tried for a bit today and can not seem to make a good smooth warp animation. I am able to make key frames and warp them, but not a smooth warp. If anyone else knows please comment!

Great video. In relation to the mouth shapes, pease expand on the “marker” feature. I don’t think they are the same as symbols??? And more about the keyframes in relation to the mouth movements. Thanks, …Rowby.

Try to make sure you have the order right. It takes a bit at the beginning to catch on. If you are still struggling after that let me know. 😁
@@studiorefraction I’m 100% sure I have them in the right order. When I click on the parent layer it just moves like a child layer
@@CherryBlossomzz at 1130-1135 I talk about clicking the one box. It makes a difference in the selection layers. Try to follow that one tip and let me know.

I just recreate them here. I have made most of my own procreate brushes. I find it easiest to make them. I can make a video on a few of my favourites. What brushes from procreate do you like?

Hello. I believe that the apps made the folders. I just started using the folders. If you go to files on iPad you can find the folders. Hope this helps!

Yeah, a tutorial on brushes and how to delete the brush textures we don't want. I imported in jpegs that don't work like pngs and there is nothing to show how to delete them

Some good layer effects and shape/ line creation would put it over the top. I think it is really moving in a good direction!
Um, why? Toonsquid is animation focus while Procreate is more illustration, comic or really book with some light animation. But all in all, Procreate is a full on art program. Both are awesome apps that I love very much and would rather have both.

I am not sure on that one. I know you can use your finger. I would just be guessing if I answered you. Sorry I can not be more help on this subject.

Can you import drawings on procreate?
Yes you can. If you save procreate pictures as PNG files you can use them in this app.

I was wondering, with the opening intro of the Pencil in this video, did you use this app to also animate that?
Yes I did. I used that and Audacity to create the opening. I use blender to put it all together. I enjoy using blender. It is a free program. Thanks for your question!
@@studiorefractionI just got the app & I know this might be an odd question, but can you add green screen to his app for special effects?
There are two ways that work well. First is turning the smoothing up to %100 on a brush. It then draws almost straight. The second is to use the vector tool. You can then turn that to raster if you want to use it that way. Hope this helps.
Silly question, but how did you draw the stick man? I have trouble figuring out how to get straight lines in this app
Can you please do a tutorial on how to zoom in and out of a picture while the camera is rolling. I’m sure there’s an easier way than me shrinking the picture at every frame
