I’m using Amplitube 5 a custom setting I created- it’s essentially a Marshall JCM 900 - with reverb and a slight delay. The main focus is the Strat of course but use the second tone switch down from the neck pick up. That’s where Stevie gets his tonality from but the Strat obviously helps achieve that P.s. thank you so much, I appreciate your input!

Please explain how an ES335, a dual humbucker guitar is more versatile than a JP majesty, also a dual humbucker guitar.

Pickups in JP are hot as hell which have practically zero dynamic range and kill pick attack. In addition they are dark and midrangy. You can reduce high end, but can’t increase it without making it sound like ****. usually low inductance and resistance translates to more versatility for that reason. JP is a good guitar but a one trick pony. Having said that, it’s an easy fix, just swap the pickups.
