this is such a perfect video to come across we have a lot of the same taste BUT I LOVE MY LIFE IN FRANCE. it is such a joyful book! i read it when i was 15 and it changed my perspective about taking me/life so seriously. julia child is such an underrated character and her story and her way of looking at things is just so admirable. i really hope you enjoy that book and all the warm feelings that come with it and thanks for your whisper vibes!

I quite enjoyed this quiet colouring session and the rambling chit-chat. I managed to avoid Covid till Christmas of 2022 and like you, it was a mild case. But boy does it leave you feeling tired! I love listening to honest reviews of things I might be interested in. Especially things I might not be familiar with, like the toothpaste. I got an SLS free toothpaste from my dentist ($$$) and hated it, lol! But I'm always open to trying something new. And just a little FYI..."Hercule" is pronounced without the "ee" sound on the end. I live in Canada, french is our official second language 🙃

I have a very well used, grease spotted, falling apart cookbook much like the Joy of Cooking. It's from 1976, The Doubleday Cookbook. Other than that I've given away most of the other ones I've had. At this point Pinterest is my go to because I like being able to read recipe reviews and "tweaks" to avoid food disappointment, lol!!

The American Girl thing never made it to Canada. It's really cute stuff! I'm amazed that you took such good care of them as a kid and still have the complete sets. They're probably worth a tad more than you paid for them now, lol!!

Watching this gave me such a comforting nostalgic feeling! I remember getting a lot of these things as hand-me-downs when my sibling aged out of dolls. I LOVED the fact that you could actually plug the wire into the device. I also remember wanting those pink glasses so bad, I thought they were the absolute coolest thing I'd ever seen.
