As a few others said, I didn't watch the whole video but the 2 main things I saw was 1) Don't use 1 team for both center tower stages, Use 1 for the first level and the 4th level of one of the side towers, and another strong team for the second stage and the 4th stage of the other side tower. You can use suboptimal/ not totally built extra characters for 1-3 on the side towers. And also don't use Shorekeeper for the side towers, keep her for both stages of the center tower. 2) Despite what some people like to say, ToA is not skill based, it's 95% gear based. All you need to know is a decent rotation for your teams- or at least cycle properly between characters and use outros etc. Besides that it's almost entirely gear based, just make sure your DPS is built well and the buffer and support have enough ER and you should clear without any issue. Based on the little bit of gameplay I watched, you're playing perfectly fine, you're wasting time here and there but it's more than enough to clear 30/30.

I full cleared it and I still say they need to get rid of this "some elements are buffed and some are nerfed" BS in the middle tower.

Center tower is extremely easy with two coordinated attackers + any skill based dps, left and right towers just use normal dps like the Rover + sanhua . This toa is way easier than the previous ones , just use the buffs

Always use your most powerful team in the middle, considering the buffs/resists as well ofc. The other towers are almost always easier to deal with. Use random 4*s for the first 3 floors on side towers to save your heavy hitters and especially supports for multiple towers. You have 2 weeks to build the characters you need to beat it. Consider it a challenge to think and overcome. Your Encore team won't make the cut for middle tower sadly...

To me it seems like you're just trolling the team split Left tower 4th floor - Jinhsi, Zhezhi (if you really can't manage to do it with anyone else), Verina/SK Middle tower - Jinhsi, Zhezhi, Verina/SK / Camellya, Sanhua, Verina SK (use these for either 1st or 2nd floor by preference) Right tower 4th floor - Camellya, Sanhua, Verina/SK Now just do the first 3 floors of left and right with remaining chars like XLY, Yinlin/Changli, Encore/MC, Danjin or Carlotta (with Zhezhi if you manage to save her on left) + Baizhi/Jianxin. Use the stronger characters for floor 3 ofc.

all these resources wasted on shit that doesn't matter (lvl10 basic on XLY and Jinhsi & more) and ur Camellya has lvl 6 ult 🗿

I cleared first 3 of the spectro tower with solo spectro rover and first 3 of the havoc tower with solo carlotta. The middle phases were Camellya, Sanhua and Sk and Jinhsi, Zhehi and Sk. The last of the side towers were again done with the same respective teams but replacing verina instead of Sk

I wouldve just used yinlin on moonlight set with carlotta just for the extra buffs and co ordinated atks. although I see carlotta isnt properly built yet so it may have been not enough still., good runs still heres my teams I used to clear the toa last night middle tower was carlotta verina and zhezhi. left tower was jinshi yinlin and shorekeeper. right tower was camilya sanhua baizhi.

i clear hazard mid with SK, sanhua, encore but its very tricky with fusion res, i was on 1 second left for 3star, if i knock back once by that monke i wouldn't make it if i would suggest all hazard using SK, zhezhi, carlotta would be a breeze, or swap with verina if you need more dmg for reso/echo tower, zhezhi carlotta is like bread and butter and pretty strong duo already 4th floor resonant with verina, yinlin, jinshi, verina got coordinated and yinlin too, but need to learn yinlin fast forte rotation 4th floor echoing with verina, sanhua, encore/camelya

Using Ecore was just not a good move, especially having all those other characters (camellya). Encore is only good if you cancel the animations as much as possible (imo). And I see a lot of animations that can or could have been cancelled.

So I'm not going to watch an hour long video to try to do a diagnostic for you, but I can say you are not approaching this with the correct strategy based on where you ended. The center tower is the hard one... that means that's the one you do first and with your best teams... but be smart about it. The left and right towers buff spectro and havoc, and the central tower buffs both. So... We're going to use shorekeeper for the center tower, and we are going to save Verina for the last levels of the left & right towers. Then you will use Jinshi and Camilya once for each of the two center towers, and then save them for the last level on the left and right towers. You can easily clear the rest of the left and right towers with whatever scrub teams you have left over.

just use Carlotta, zhezhi, shorekeeper in the middle tower ez clear. on the left tower just use rover for the 3 first floors and camellya, sanhua and verina for the last floor ( u might wanna use more tries because if your camelly isnt that strong it might depend if you have luck on your crits. do the same strat on the right tower. now you only need 2 teams for whole ToA.

Based on your list of characters at 4:12 and tweaked a bit from what I used to clear ToA *F = Floor *Yuanwu and Yangyang just provide a bit more damage, anyone else is also ok Resonant Tower F1 and F2: Xiangli Yao F3: Xiangli Yao / Yuanwu / Yangyang F4: Carlotta / Changli / Verina Echoing Tower F1 and F2: Camellya F3: Camellya / Yuanwu / Yangyang F4: Carlotta / Changli / Verina Hazard Tower F1 and F2: Jinhsi / Zhezhi / Shorekeeper

Try Heron early in the rotation it doesn't activate until you outro but still goes on cd allowing for faster rotations. I would also recommend swapping into Sanhua instead of Verina. Being in the air is always awkward and can mess with rotations. The 3ba, ult jump 2ba is fast enough even without variation (one extra ba on jump). It also allows more quick swap opportunities. Furthermore swapping into Sanhua builds concerto on her which if quick swapped correctly can allow for 2 Encore bursts within 30 seconds.. Energy is also improved if quick swapping encore skill between Sanhua and Verina abilities. Hope this helps.

This is rough on you, man. I personally recommend using shorekeeper for the middle floors and trying with carlotta. You'll be good to go with encore on the side towers. I proved this with baizhi on my channel.

The sweet spot for finishing the first 2 tacet discords is 4 min and 20 seconds, if you reach that and keep the same lvl of dps by the end with the boss, you will make it in time. If you upgrade Sanhua a bit more and get a bit better echoes you can do it. You have this week left, so you have time to get some better echoes, that may help.

As someone who started in 1.3 and got 29/30 I feel you brother. With only camellya left for the last floor the havoc res kinda screw me+my skill issue. P.s. I noticed that your inferno is not nightmare yet maybe try rolling for a new one. For sanhua I try overture(4star weapon) if you have one it might help your time a little bit with just Q and R and concerto will be already full unlike 5 star sword and if the liberation energy is miss a little bit you could slap the fallacy echo on verina for energy regen buff for other character. Always go with shorekeeper in the middle tower (lvl100) and verina for left and right (lvl90) Shorekeeper is better for damage boost. Verina have a faster rotation. You need more energy regen with encore and dash cancel the last atk in liberation(when cosmos appears). At the end of the liberation cast a skill not forte its better --> switch too sanhua skill/ulti/forte--->switch too encore last blow of the skill its hard timming but more damage

Honestly, I think you shouldnt stop. You are making a lot of mistakes but you're getting there. I'll point some of them so you know where to start. First, resource management and build: Verina is 100% should be on Variation, anything else ruins her rotation so you're easily losing 10-15 second just with that. Sanhua skills should be maxed, she can deal tons of damage, and skill lvl6 instead of 10 means she literally deals 40% less damage that she should. Second, rotations: I wont be pointing everything, as I think you're gonna get there on your own with practice, but one point is important: learn Verinas 5sec outro tech. It may seem difficult at first but it will land on your memory muscle very quickly I promise

Lemme test with mine real quick. Yeah nvm, I can't 3* with Sanhua Encore. 02m54s so I'm short buy a few seconds, This floor ain't it for them. I'm honestly at a loss here because I was able to do it with Changli x Encore, I'm not sure why I couldn't for Sanhua x Encore when they are supposedly better combination Also, Use Variation on Verina if available. She will provide outro faster, you'll love it. Nvm, after adjusting my rotation a little I can 3* it afterall. 03m05s.

Nope, you can still clear it as a casual player. Just give it more tries, maybe free your Jinshi team & use it here. P.S. I m a casual player as well and was able to clear it. This ToA did take me around 10 tries to get 30/30 though. And I am a mobile player which limits the effectiveness of quick swaps & swap cancels are practically impossible. Also E2 Encore with S6 Sanhua is a good team, have seen clears of this floor by the exact same team with worse stats.

I experimented with the same team you got.. she can only clear hazard 1, on hazard 2, that moronic memphis takes too long to summon, huge dps loss😂

as non casual I did notice the last floor difficulty has been increasing the past few patch. I used to be able to clear all tower of adversity with S0R1 Jinshi in 50 second or less, now I for the last floor I need more than one minutes. that is massive, 20 second increase in clear time for me mean 40% increase in difficulty It was non issue for me as I can still clear it with S0R0 5 star or even S6 4 star but the clear time is getting closer to 2 minutes, I can see a more casual or newer player struggling with it. I hope instead of increasing the difficulty they add a new floor for more experienced player while keeping the old one the same edit: I notice that the middle tower buff is a lot more specific than usual. I think the difficulty was okay but that buff limit which character can easily clear the floor. Using Havoc is a no go let alone Electro and then there is the buff from coordinated attack and resonance skill dmg bonus. Kinda fck up ngl

Im not sure how well built your Carlotta is, but the stage shouldn't be too hard with her and the Area Effect buffs the tower provides.

U dont have to give up and miss some free astrites but you just dont have to try too hard because trying to 30/30 toa requires some sweaty hands, patience and time. If you have a well built f2p acc. And is casual 21/30 has good enough reward and your not missing much.

Don't worry at the end of the day your mostly losing 50 astirites to stress about. Great clear with Encore and Verina also my favorite units in the game <3

I don’t believe you understand the definition of casual. 😂 You’re fine. TOA is considered like one of the end game activities and you’re clearing a majority of it. Also jealous of your Shorekeeper.
