Definitely got some speed in it. With the right driver that doesn't keep venturing out into Pluto's orbit every turn that beetle would have easily lapped the field.

Yes, Super Stock 206, Tillotson 225RS and More, all running together called the "Pro 4 Cycle" class.

is it normal to leave the bolts lying around, im guessing the car would have been released when he raised his arms. they can go flying if they were under a tire. I find it interesting that the 4rsclubsport uses a 5 lug when the cup cars use a single centerlock style nut.
The bolts are lying around because they aren't under the tires. They also dont go flying into pit lane so its not a huge deal. I've seen guys pick them up sometimes if they think its going to get run over. The 5 lug is a cost thing. Going center lock is expensive, esp on a Porsche. Also the clubsport title is meant to be a track and street car so keeping it 5 lug helps be that gap small I guess.

It isn't near as steep feeling driving it but walking up that hill you feel like your going to die

@@BeaudoinMotorsports I didn't learn about the easy way until after I went the hard way first. Then later found out there are good karts that will just take you to the top

Lovely build! How's the handling with the extra weight? Did you guys get the weight balance sorted out? Would love to know about it.
This was the first version of the kart, handling was a bit off. The newest version of the kart is much better, The owner and kart combined is at 430lbs, but it now handles, and is very quick

Hey, i have some questions about the 225RS. I need to get one for my outlaw kart and was wondering if youve had any issues with yours and where exactly did you get it? Did you just buy it online or was there a walk in store in the area? It seems like youre close to where i am. Just wondering
Got one from a local vendor for the Karting area, only issue they have is starting some times. Seems altitude based. Here in Reno it struggles to start
Hey man, this looks like a blast! Im trying to find out some data on how that 225RS compares to the LO206 black slide config. I race Heavy and am trying to get some more HP under me to have some more fun. If its a decent enough pick up, a few friends are also talking about picking one up.
It is definitely faster than a Stock 206, Probably somewhere around a Second Plus a lap

How is it compared to a 2 stroke like a rotax max or iame x30 ?
Slower by a lot. Closer to a 100CC 2 Stroke. But still a few seconds off

@@parpaing_1 it really depends on Output. We can make it 125 Shifter fast, But that is so unsafe with just rear brakes, and it gets hot So we tuned it for KA100 speed And yes, It has Stupid Torque haha. Full power from 0RPM
@@BeaudoinMotorsports ... is the extra weight an issue for a single disc brake kart if you were to push it to the equivalent of a 125cc?
@@hushpuppykl Absolutely, the Kart is incredibly sketchy running high power. The perfect scenario would be using a Shifter Chassis with Front Brakes

What a blast that is! I’ve heard of folks gearing for about 7800rpm with the Briggs super stocks. It looks like you’re using a tillotson 225.
I normally run the 225 but we currently are rebuilding it, (connecting rod) 7800 is about the limit for the SS, we found it works just fine it's 7300-7400 and you get more longevity
Crazy thought, facing the whole store a minute after you faced the exhaust somebody walks through there and drops that on that spot

This always happens. I’ve replaced all 4 of my calipers simply doing pad changes. Maybe if Ford used something other than clay pottery to make their brake pistons out of they would stop breaking so much.
I try to warn the guys to compress the calipers first, never do, and destroy the pistons on the little nubs on the pads

Racing on dirt with slick tires is already hard enough, but now imagine doing so with a right front tire that was fully on the cords. Welcome to what I was dealing with the entire race.

@@BeaudoinMotorsports the best ones are when you’re going 4-5 and jam it back down into 3rd. It makes it really easy to pull the transmission when you delete the clutch disk.
