Mark Kleinhaut jazz guitar
США
Добавлен 15 июн 2014
Mark Kleinhaut playing jazz guitar, mostly solo, but in collaborations/groups too. During the pandemic lockdowns, I started using green screens for remote virtual collaboration with a goal of creating performances that look and feel like the live event. This lead to experiments with visualization programs that convert sound files into light shows, and used Davinci Resolve video editing software to put it all together.
The guitars I play are built by Tom Ribbecke and Marc Beneteau, both acclaimed master luthiers. I also like amplification by Raezers Edge, a small shop based in Milwaukee. Things like Gibson and Fender are great, but using some of the rare equipment out there can help develop a unique sound.

A Hard Rain's A Gonna Fall
Просмотров 224Месяц назад
The strings cry sometimes. The wood yearns for warmth and protection. The sound is hazy and thick, but still with hope for clarity and resumption of purpose. I'm thinking as I play this of all of the victims and damage from hurricane Helene. From Bob Dylan, "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall".
Man these guys are KILLIN! I love Solazzos touch on keys
Martin Taylor, if he doesn't already, needs to see this !

Wonderful interpretation.... but that's a given coming from you, Mark. You're an incredible and unique player. 🎼🎶
It reminds me my grandparent playing guitar, and also, gave some, many shivers in the head. I always had the sensation with music, but not frequently... keep going!
Marvelous playing and dialogue!
Damn, that was cool.

Oh my god the chorus he takes before the melody?! I think I’ve listened to it 100 times and it keeps getting better

What a tasty surprise 😲 😲
Great playing all around! Thanks Mark for posting the link to this to Bernie’s Bootleg’s clip of Joel’s solo from this. Adam was a classmate of mine at UArts and I always really liked his playing! Great to hear him play again after all these years! 🎷🔥

@@BrianNeil thank you!!
Sounds great!
Magnificent. Mastery as always, Mark.
He's so flexible and have numerous patterns and devices he knows. The great thing about his playing is the absolute precision, emotion and he makes it look so easily. Truly one if the baddest cats around on tenor along with Rick Margitza and Chris Potter
Wow
